@LifeAsWeKnowIt 1:32 Pro tip: try open throttle a bit next time... That often helps when engine isn't wormed up yet... I also have issues with my Husqvarna chain saw and that helps a lot...
FYI most saws come with a decompresion button to make it easeir to start. I think it was the metal round plug looking like thing on top. Push in and pull. Has compresion builds it will pop out automatically.

@ that makes sense why it was severed….. it can be difficult marking everything, but there is no room for error with that job. It’s a rough one. I fly DJI Mavic Pro 3E. E is for enterprise. It has a 56X zoom camera. I did have Mavic Pro3 Cine but sold it. I’ve been fly for 10 years and love every second of it. To control a bird in the sky is awesome! Keep bring the good content and enjoy them. You show that sometimes it just doesn’t go well and you have to always have a backup plan Or redundancy. I’m about to be an Underground Construction Supervisor here in Texas. I start Monday. What I appreciate what you shown is that of the shot is further than the string, you go to other side and come back to the Pothole! It’s the little things that matter!
Alex, this is not a slam against you or your crew, but what company allows access to mech/elect/comm rooms, through a LAB to non-employees? Insane!! If through the lab is the only access, then some moron designed it. Additionally, storage of bio-hazards in an electrical/comm room? This company needs to get their shit together! Great video!
@@BEdmonson85 If they were digging on a valid locate ticket for their area and the cable was unmarked as he stated than it would be on the cable owner for repairs and damages. If it was located correctly than the cost would be on the company that hit it.
Sir I am locater from India and i have very good experience in HDD Locater work and i can run all types Digitrack F series and Mag series and i need job as a locater work in your company

Court used a Rodder and Locater. He put the Rodder down the conduit until it stopped and then hooked up and located it out and marked it with white paint.
how did you locate where to drill that pot hole? Did you run a fishtape/rodder and then put locate tone on it? I know an otdr can give you distance to the fault but with that you need an exact path.
Pull the footages off the existing fiber cable for the most accurate footage. Also, odd lack of urgency from the provider. Site must have another fiber cable as a backup.

If the drill crew had a good locate ticket and the locate company missed marking the utility that was hit then it’s on the locate company.

Yes exactly that, send the fish tape or rodder and when you cannot push no more than utility locator to follow it

It happened on a Friday afternoon and we fixed it on Saturday. So that’s probably why it wasn’t urgent.
