Steve Gould with Trophy Time Leaders sold me a pair of this exact same thing 2 years ago. He also makes them with the wires going the other direction to deflect weeds rather than catch them. Works better when trolling bucktails.
Doug Wegner shows his enthusiasm for the sport and his terrific skills in guiding on Green Bay. I highly recommend Doug Wegner for your next walleye, smallmouth or musky adventure.
Doug, this tool is one of the best in years!! Thank you! I also think that I saw somewhere in one of your videos that you add a second set of trebles to blade baits? Is that right? Would you tell us which video or where we can find the best “how to” so that we don’t interrupt the spinning of the blades? Thanks! Great work!!
Not to be that guy....but did I miss if you take it out of the water? I was really hoping to see the fish vs just its head in the net and water before release 😭😭

Haha thanks Bill!
been using OR-16 with a 7/0 treble for years...pinch the barbs and file the point off....
Jimmy G I used to do that as well but these work much better.
@@dougwegnerfishing I forgot to add....awesome fish man!!
Can you use the unweighted for casting?
I don’t see why not. Never thought Of that.
I’d suggest the weightless inline and cut the arms down to 1” or so
That's also a nice set up (no I didn't skip thru the video lol)
Did you get a new boat and that is a great product
Boats in the shop borrowing a buddies. Thanks for watching.
Great video. Do you have any experience fishing Cass Lake in Mn? Headed there on October 18th. Any suggested would be appreciated.
I have never fished Cass
How do I decide what weight I should use
It’s all personal preference. If you don’t normally use any weight go with the weightless if you run weights slept one of then 4 options.
Caught two trolling 46 and 35
2 fish with the weed kits??
What is you PB Muskie?
Joe Marx 55 x 25 casting Green Bay
