Hi Piotr! I am a 63 year-old classic rock fan, and I think Baby Metal is the most fantastic band in the world. I play the guitar and sing, but not nearly as well as you. I have seen many of the greatest bands in the world, and Baby Metal's performance at the Wiltern Theater here in Los Angeles last July was world-class brilliant. I've been trying to learn how to sing some of these songs, and your performances are an inspiration. Keep doing what you're doing, and could you do Akatsuki?
+1 for akatsuki, for the voice, we know its not pure accoustic, but babymetal isnt accoustic too, voice are often modified in micro, and they have background electronic music, piano and scream in support. i remember at paris download in june, the electronic bugged at start, and we waited 25minutes for restart, and they didnt play or sing at all during 25minutes, because they cant do it accoustic..wheras many other band who had technical issue could make a speech or solo accoustic, babymetal cant actually, well may be they work on it :).

With the intricate timely dance moves, the intercom between the band and girls, the ear monitors, the effects (lights are network integrated, fire pots if used, etc.), backing tracks, real time computer console overview (see computer bank with several monitors manned at live concerts, here and there one may get a glimpse, I did just recently, or could that be pro video shoots only monitoring?) and on and on I doubt they would attempt to "wing it". LOL. 90% of the musical electronics I'm familiar with come from or are built in Japan anyway, so their gonna _use them._ That said, I don't think it would be beyond Su-metal to do a solo tune ("unfinished" Akatsuki type like she already had done) with a couple of Kami playing acoustic guitar.
I think by now Su's proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that she can sing and has pipes without electronic assistance, or overdubbed tracks (that are her own voice btw, something a lot of solo artists do.) It shouldn't be a question of CAN Su do an acoustic rendition of a BABYMETAL song, it's a question of WHY? :) Until BABYMETAL releases an actual acoustic song - which isn't far-fetched considering all the Metal sub-genres they've covered in just two albums - I don't see why BABYMETAL would feel compelled to do a cover of one of their own songs just for giggles in the middle of a tour. You notice how BABYMETAL has never played "No Rain, No Rainbow" or "Tales of The Destinies" in smaller venues? I'd also like to add that BABYMETAL's US tour concerts (and other small venues stops) has featured Su doing the bulk of the singing WITHOUT any backing vocal tracks/overdubs or vocal modulations of any variety and she's had no trouble hitting those high notes. You'll actually find that some of her most impressive "Hedobangyaaaa" raw screams take place in those venues. :) The NYC PlayStation concert was probably one of the few rare times BLACK BABYMETAL has sung all their duet songs (for one setlist) live, instead of miming, to serve as another example. On a sidebar, have you listened to Su's a cappella version of BABYMETAL songs when asked to do a mini-performance for interviewers? If you have, you'll note a very naturally sweet and warm melodic side to her voice - something that would lend itself wonderfully to an acoustic set. :3 The thing is they're all about the FULL presentation, that's how Koba likes it, that's how BABYMETAL has perfected their on-stage musical character as a band. Them not saying "oops, technical difficulties, let's entertain the crowd with acoustic covers" isn't a matter of inability but a matter of (current) disinterest from the top (Koba) and disinterest from the top, means no-go for the group on stage. They're a fine-oiled machine of incredible talent and professionalism from the girls to the musicians with a mastermind at the helm, they're not like your ordinary bands. Not much "winging" is going to be happening on stage and again, it's not because they can't. :)
Holy fucking shit this GOES SO HARD. Dude your guitar skills are amazing as always. But to go as far as singing the whole song in Japanese and with your gifted voice❤️❤️❤️❤️
