First of all, I LOVE THEM! I don't think I completely appreciated them a lot because of the rest of all the drama going on. But wow! He is such a good guy for her. I love them, Big Red is so adorable, and and kind to her. The SHIP for them is real people!

I FELT that Sara Bareilles thing. Mine sounds stupid in comparison, but I get how amazing that feels when someone makes the comparison you’ve secretly always wanted and hoped for but never would have made urself. For me since I’m not a write it’s with my clothes. After freshman year I kinda reinvented my wardrobe bc I wanted to look like Lydia Martin from teen wolf. I loved her style, but I always just loved her attitude. She was strong and ppl respected her, and I wanted to be like that. I even styled my hair in lots of braids like hers sometimes too and one day Junior year one of my classmates said that I reminded them of her and 3 years later that’s still one of the best compliments I’ve ever received. It just feels good when other people acknowledge the things you put effort into, but don’t necessarily broadcast. Or when they say u remind them of ur inspirations. Bc that means not only did u get what u we’re going for, but u pulled it off well enough that they’re complimenting it instead of saying u copied it.
I also really love Greek Mythology and my favorite goddess is a Persephone (goddess of spring and queen of the underworld) and one outfit I wore someone told me I “looked like some kind of flower princess from Greek mythology” so I also always loved that comparison

SEASON 4 SPOILERS
I can understand the way they grew out of their relationship, but it still hurts. Their chemistry was something special. I almost have a feeling that Ashlyn and Maddox might not last, and she’ll find her way back to Big Red one day. (Side note: gender has NOTHING to do with my opinion. I don’t care that Maddox was a girl; I don’t really like Ashlyn being with anybody else, male or female, besides Big Red. The two of them were perfect together.)
Agreed. I’m fine with LGBTQ, but it just doesn’t make sense to break him and Ashlyn up. They didn’t even say anything about breaking up for Pete’s sake! I’ll admit that Maddox and Ashlyn are sweet, but the old ships are better. Same goes for Ricky and Nini as well as EJ and Gina. This show sometimes feels like baseball. Three strikes and I’m out, but in this case it’s losing Rini, Portwell and Redlyn. But don’t get me wrong, LGBTQ is a good thing.

This show is entertaining at a surface level but this is just one of the many examples of where the writing falls completely flat. Who asked for this? Do the writers just think that gingers are instantly attracted to each other because of their hair color??

I thought their interactions were cute, but I still agree. They weren't given any depth or motivations - there wasn't enough screen time to see *why* he said that she "got" him or even to really see any development in their relationship. I suppose that's the problem with so few episodes and so many cast members - there's only so much time you can devote to each character, let alone each ship. Even the "main" couple, Ricky and Nini, barely got much screen time/development. And it doesn't help when the writing was mediocre, to say the least.
I’m pretty sure that’s bc the main point of the show wasn’t the romance but it was the friendship and family that comes from theater
