what I got from this movie, which is very subjective - being moral in this world is just an ilussion. When we try (or are made) to escape the illusion, we fall into another one. they tried to make Alex more moral, but they didn't really try to do it - they just wanted to create an illusion for other people to see. The same for Alex himself when playing a role of good christian in the prison. He just created an ilussion of morality. And in the movie this is the only type of morality that we get - the fake one. The one that hides the true intention. You can put it on every character, go on and try. Same for parents - creating an ilussion of caring, of emotions ( like crying and then suddenly stopping... nott very natural, huh?). The policeman in the role of law, in reality not giving Alex the lawyer, just bitting him up for their own pleasure, putting themselves on the same level as Alex. If both supposingly opposide sides are moraly equal... you know the movie is about evilness.
Alex was a cruel human being,who became;redeemed with the Lido Vicoh(however you spell it?]treatment to prevent violence in criminal’s.This was based on a book 📕 by Anthony Burgess,of course!It has nothing to do with the real world!
