Thank you Ana,I thoroughly enjoyed this video. As a regular visitor to Benidorm and surrounding areas I know them so well, but this was so different..I hope that one day you'll do a little tour of Alicante

Thank you Ana, we are going to Benidorm on the 28th and are planning a trip to Alicante. This has been a really helpful video. Keep up the good work and thank you again😊
Done that trip ANNA years and years ago, Great Day out and one we will always remember, gorgeous weather to start with then boy tremendous Rain started on way back to Benidorm, and I mean Rain, it was in October ! lasted on and off for 3 days....then GONE ! and gorgeous ☀ came back, oh we liked ALICANTE especially Harbour, regards. ☀️🏝
I'm off to Benidorm next week and this was perfect to help me plan my days out : Alicante, Villajoysa & Denia by train. Maybe Valencia by bus. The public transport system looks generally very efficient and regular. Thank you , Anna .
Thank you Ana....this is helping me a lot for my forthcoming move since planning renting somewhere that area for my retirement next year...moving out of Valencia capital...were also renting is tooooo expensive. Your information is invaluable...hence I will be buy you a coffee soon...to say thanks I mean.... cheeeerrrsss...
I think this service should be extended all the way to Torrevieja and further out to Cartagena, with many stops in between. The tourism in all the locations would only benefit! There should be one or two times slow train , stopping everywhere and then one fast train stopping only few major locations between start and end station. I love this train since the 80's. It used to be a lot of fun with kids....
Only experience of public transport in Spain apart from Taxis was when i got a train from Madrid to Alicante. Outstanding scenery and great facilities onboard
Thanks for the video and the excellent explanation. I have a question please. If I buy a return ticket from Alicante to Benidorm, is it possible to stop for an hour in el campeo to have some refreshment and then continue to Benidorm using the same ticket ?
Thank you Ana great video very helpful could i just ask if you get off at stations to look round before getting to Alicante do you use the same ticket or do you to pay again xx
Thank you for great video. Do you know if you can tap your credit or debit card at the entrance & exit barriers for your journey like you can on the Renfe trains. We do this in Malaga it's so much easier than queuing to use the ticket machine. The tram barriers look the same with the square screen where you would tap your card. Many thanks
Hi Anna, Two questions;- 1, Are they currently building a tram link to Alicante airport? 2, What tram stop to you get off of if you want to visit the large expansive beach we viewed from the tram? is it San Juan? or do you use another tram line?
You forgot to say which platform you should use at Albir. I wanted tram to Denia but was on wrong platform so couldn't get on it. There was no one around to follow or ask. Had to wait an hour for next tram. For those of you who don't know there is just a single track at Albir with a platform each side.
It’s because it changes, they put a temporary platform there. When on the way to Benidorm/Alicante I had to cross to the higher level platform, but it’s not always like this.. not sure why they did it the other way around 🤔
Do you know the best way to go from Alicante- Elche airport to Albir? And also how to get to Valencia from Albir? Can you recommend a hospital in the area? Traveling with a child so want to be prepared for anything :D Your videos helped me find Albir; if we like it we will move in the future.
It’s a gorgeous place, you will love it! 😊 from Alicante airport by taxi, rented car, bus to Benidorm and from there direct tram to Albir. From Valencia pretty much the same options, there’s bus Alsa that passes through Albir too from Valencia Hospital imed Levante is the closest, it’s the one we use, if not there’s health center right next to Albir gardens bike resort
As the tram station is closing for works at Alicante do you know how far the mercado station is from the lucerous station please as they start and finish from there for a few weeks
Could you do a feature on the local bus system ? From Rincon de Loix McDonalds through Mediterranean Avenue to Finestrat and Carrefour. And the opposite way to Albir and Altea..
There are some specific dates when you can’t bring bicycle with you, mostly Sundays and some special holidays when there’s a lot of people using the tram. The rest of the days you can only 4 per wagon, there is no extra cost for it, it’s the normal ticket according to the areas you choose
Really enjoyed accompanying you on your trip to Alicante. Thank you Ana 😊
Would like to see you doing the journey from Benidorm to Denia
Thank you for showing us your train ride from Benidorm to Alicante 👍🥰

El problema es que ese tranvía pertenece a la Comunidad Valenciana y Cartagena está en Murcia
Es lo que tienen las comunidades autónomas
If you walk a bit further from Luceros, Alicante railway station serves the southbound destinations like Elche, Murcia and Cartagena.
Great video. Pity the line doesn’t go to the airport.
Thank you very useful
Only experience of public transport in Spain apart from Taxis was when i got a train from Madrid to Alicante. Outstanding scenery and great facilities onboard
En realidad son tres estaciones subterráneas y una cuarta en construcción hasta la estación del tren, saludos a todos😊
Thank anna looking tired twke care

Thank you Ana great video very helpful could i just ask if you get off at stations to look round before getting to Alicante do you use the same ticket or do you to pay again xx
In this case I would recommend you to get a 24h ticket, it costs 8,00€ only for all 3 areas
Alicante Luceros will remain completely closed until Feb 21st 2204 due to improvement works at the station.
From tomorrow, for around 1 month, last stop will be Mercado

I’ve never seen anyone do this, usually people scan the bono cards or tickets. I can check 🤔

Hi! 1. Not yet, there is a plan to do so, but its not a reality yet.
2. The long Beach is playa de muchavista and playa de san juan 👍

The ticket from vending machine inside tram is already active or should I validate it somehow?
No, it’s already active, just make sure you don’t throw it away, there might be random ticket check during the trip
@@BenidormbyAna thanks!
As the tram station is closing for works at Alicante do you know how far the mercado station is from the lucerous station please as they start and finish from there for a few weeks
I usually walk the distance, it’s a few minutes, not too long
Excellent information. Is there a ticket that you can buy for unlimited travel over a 5 or 7 day period?
There’s a ticket for 10 trips,30 trips and 24h one, then already for a month or a year
Thank you Ana. I just found that a 24h is only €4! I'll be there on Monday, I can't wait😊
How far is the tram from alicante airport?
Quite far, however, you can get till the last stop as we did and right by the train station RENFE there’s bus to the airport 👍🏼
@@BenidormbyAna okay thank you.
Thanks Ana-will give that trip a go in March ❤
Think those dots could be a screen for the suns rays. ( could be wrong) 😅😅😅😅

Do you know if small dogs are allowed on the tram?
Is there a Tram line from Alicante to the Alicante Airport?
Sadly not, it’s a long waited project… there’s bus though
Is it possible to bring a bicicle and how much they charge for it?
There are some specific dates when you can’t bring bicycle with you, mostly Sundays and some special holidays when there’s a lot of people using the tram. The rest of the days you can only 4 per wagon, there is no extra cost for it, it’s the normal ticket according to the areas you choose
@@BenidormbyAna Thank you!
Wheelchair accessible please? Looks all level.

@@BenidormbyAna thank you so much 👍
