I have several of these, but one favorite. I wrapped the handle with bike handlebar wrap, put on a 28" Oregon bar and chain, and she rips. My go to saw our of my collection. Thanks for the video. I enjoyed seeing the old Mac.
I purchased 2 Homelite xl12s for 20 ea. I bought a Mac pro 1010s for 20, an an older Mac 1010 for 10. All but the last 1 runs, mostly carb kits. The last 1 , has great compression is all l know. All purchased an at of our local very large fleamarkets. I was blessed to say the least.
I’ve gotten a few 10-10’s for free and bought a few. never met a Mac that didn’t want to run. absolutely bomb proof. Love the sounds and feel of a Mac!
I worked on one of those a few years back, I wasn't particularly impressed with its design, Besides Homelites I like the old 0 series Stihls, Jonsereds, and Poulan countervibes

I have Two 10-10 sisters in great shape. One left and one right hand pull. They certainly have that lovely sound. Very nice.

I've got one in storage somewhere, missing the isle screw which I now have.
Looking forward to running it one day.
You wouldn't happen to have a pull cord cover for one of these, would you? I'll probably need to track down a parts saw.
