Ha, that's the idea in all my videos - one take, no bullshit! Mistakes and all - I think people tend to get way too cute with their studio editing and perfected takes on UA-cam covers. I want people on my channel to experience exactly what they'd hear 3 ft. from me playing in my living room.

Wow, merci my friend! I really appreciate you checking out my original music. Sadly, the band has been on hiatus for quite a while now. I'd absolutely love to get back in the studio and record some more of the recent music we had been playing. I felt it was our best for sure! For now, I'll try to keep up with doing covers on here

Hello ianA, I've commented on some of your other videos. I didn't realise you covered Slow Cheetah. "On any other day I might play a funeral march for Bonnie Brae... why try to run away... " How did AK write such sublime lyrics to describe his addictions... Glad I've read Scar Tissue so I get the reference. I'm assuming that this entire song is about heroin (slow) and crack (cheetah) addiction, and I figured a few lyrics where about Jennifer Bruce.... Great cover. Interested what you relate the lyrics to.

what make and model is your guitar ?
Adam Negus it’s a Martin, maybe D12 or D18, sure not D28/35.
sorry this is 5 years late lol - it was a Martin Custom D Classic Rosewood - essentially a D-28 sounding guitar with D-15 construction and appointments (rosewood fingerboard and bridge instead of ebony, A-Frame bracing instead of X, different binding and mortis and tenon neck joint instead of dovetail. It was a MF/Guitar Center exclusive - I believe Martin still makes them the mahogany variant of this. It's the poor man's D-28 for sure, but the finish is very lacking which makes it boom, but it also wears REALLY easy. I sold this one and now I own a standard D-18 from 2019 and a 2020 HD28-12 which I love. Still, the guitar in this video served me well and It was a fine instrument on its own.
