Homemade Two-Wheeled Push Cart Market Stall

- Bicycle wheels are at the heart of this stall. Having just two wheels makes it very maneuverable and light, but obviously it needs propping up carefully. The uprights that hold up the canvas cover also go right down through the body of the stall, to the ground - and that’s what makes it stable.
We put it into the horse van and that way we can drive it to within a few hundred yards of the market. It’s not a way to get rich but it’s a great way to meet new people.
Kilchrohane is the most westerly village on the Sheep’s Head peninsula - it’s a very pretty place and the market happens every Sunday morning throughout the summer. It’s well worth a visit if you’re ever in the country (- even though we probably won’t be there…)

What a lovely little cart! I sell baked goods at our local Farmers Market in Texas... it is interesting to see how similar your small town market is to ours. :-) I've subscribed to your channel, enjoying these! Have a great day, Tina
Pecan Corner Thanks so much Tina! : - )
Love the cart!
Thank you!
Looks like you were enjoying yourself
Not a bad way to spend a Sunday at all.
How about a video showing how you make the sheeps milk cheese please. Did u sell all the candles? I hope so. Thanks for sharing your Sunday morning market stall adventure.
Cheers David
thanks David, - never sure whether these sort of videos are a bit boring for people - but we had a good time anyway. Still have plenty of candles - but they won't go off so we'll sell them eventually. Check this out - How To Make Seriously Simple Sheeps' Milk Cheese!. Tim
Looks lovely. I will take the sheep cheese and candles please. :)
Thank you, Madam. Would you like those wrapped? : - )
I will buy the cheese, candles, and some sweet. Honey bee wax candles are the best and the wax is reusable, we have a small F M too. Love your videos, thank you for sharing
Sofia Rivas Thanks Sofia!
i would buy a custom made cart like this
If it wasn't so hard to change countries I'd love to move out there.
I'm with you. I'm from Michigan, and I have been to Ireland twice and Germany once. I wish I could change countries, but I can't. It is so costly.
And the fact that America has made so many enemies that even if we did move it would take a long time to gain the trust of our new neighbors
JR Lenard. Silly
Love the cart do you have any photos of the build, I would like to build one.
Crystal River Florida USA
love the site!
Richard Martin Thanks Martin - no photos, sorry. But you might like the new doughnut cart build I'm in the middle of? More videos on that coming soon..
It's always interesting to see what you are up to. Is sheep's cheese similar to goats cheese?.
Thanks Patrick. No - it's much nicer than goat's cheese. We think, anyway : - )
did you sell many candles?
10, I think? We were only there a couple of hours. Not too bad?
True conservatives! Real people doing real work to take responsibility for, and care of, themselves and their eclectic family and friends.
Ha! We've never been described as conservative before : - )
@@WayOutWestx2 Well, what else are you guys? Handsome is as handsome does, and there's no hiding from that sir.
btw - Last Christmas I started some American poplars from slips the size of a Q-tip down here in Wexford. Today they're all 7'6" + as I can only just touch the tops. Ones you sent me couldn't quite match that, but now on about 3'6", so all's well.
