That’s why it’s more fun in the Philippines it doesn’t matter what calamity we encounter when we are growing up but we love life I know we have to face reality but it doesn’t stop us from living.
Went through the volcano, Mt.Pinatubo eruption when I was younger. Although we knew that it was a horrific calamity, we never stayed in that victim mentality. We made the most of what was in front of us, hence surviving it. We shoveled mud, sand etc... Filipino resilience at it's finest.
It's how it is we just enjoy heavy rains even though we know that after floods it's a strenuous clean up afterwards but it's gonna be fun too bec us and our neighbors are cleaning aswell you felt so tired but we can manage especially when we have sounds/music while cleaning up.
Ofc during the typhoon strike, we are praying and kinda freaking out and hoping everyone are safe but aftermath of the typhoon, we are still smiling and keep things positive. For us flooding is just like a normal day for us so yeah.
what can you do during flood? Instead of crying and being depressed, make merry thoughts, and share the kindness to others. you cant complain when nature's unleash it's wrath.
Back in the day, i remember walking home from school drenched in rain water. Walking bec all the jeepneys were full😂 And getting stranded at sm mall. I went to the mall like any normal day w some rain and went out with flood water waist deep😊so sm accepting our groceries to be stored overnight while we walk home thru the flood😂 Its always fun in the Philippines❤
