This attraction is amazing, the lighting is incredible. It’s so beautiful at night including the dips and turns during the ride make it unique and fun. 🌙🚂

Probably my favorite Big Thunder Mountain. Have not been on the Paris version yet. That portion of the bat cave plus the last drop into the Dinosaur graveyard is awesome, the speed in that area is a great finale to the ride that the Disneyland version doesn't have. Also, love that the Primeval World is attached to it.
This is virtually the same ride as wdw. About 90-95%. The last 5 or 6 seconds before the brake run into the station being the main difference, and that's mostly lighting effects. Hardly merits a facelift.
also has the best of the splash mountains, and now the only splash mountain. Going in July hopefully I can ride both of these and experience the park completely in one day

I went to Tokyo Disneyland today but couldn't ride Big Thunder Mountain because it was under construction. So I came to watch this video to console myself.

Dani GTI This one, aside from a slightly different beginning and much better ending, is a mirror image of California’s. Florida’s is also pretty close to a mirror of California’s, except for the space between the first two lift hills. The Thunder in Paris is quite different (and beautiful). And if you count Hong Kong’s as a thunder, it’s the most different of all.
However the complete middle section of Paris is almost the same as this one. In fact, almost all the middle sections of Big Thunder Mountain are 99% the same. The beginning and end are most of the time different and in the case of Paris they are longer because they needed tunnels to go under the water.
This is the carbon copy of Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom version that is themed to Utah's monument valley and mirror-images California version but not exact due to many replacements/differences such as before the coaster reaches the second lift hill, it enters a slightly long dark cave a la California Disneyland, instead of the ghost town of Tumble Weed, then when the coaster turns left after exiting the third lift hill, which is before the bone yard, the coaster keeps going straight to the cave whereas in WDW it goes further left to a bats' cave then the coaster exits the cave turning left and gets to the bone yard. Then the ending after the bone yard is also different compared to WDW version; the coaster enters one more cave then turns right until returning to the loading area whereas WDW version, the coaster turns left and no cave scene after passing the bone yard reaching the loading area.
This is one of those rare situations where the Hong Kong Park has the best version of the "Mountain rollercoaster" ride. I've ridden both this one and the HK ride, and I have to say the HK ride with it's Multiple launches and backwards section is the superior ride.

The double drops at the final scene are really thrilling and amazing than it looks on video! Personally I prefer Tokyo version to Paris version.
That part with the projected flying bats is so clever! I like how some of the riders pulled their hands back because of the bats. Great ride!

"Lacks effects" ? If you compare to DLP's it has way more effects and decorations, and I am saying this as a french guy living in Paris

ディズニーのアトラクションって、ほんと周りの風景とかよく作られてる。コースターもただ最後まで速いのではなく、途中でスピードダウンするという強弱の演出がいいですよね。でも、アトラクション動画アップして大丈夫なんですかね。気を付けないと著作権がらみなどで気づかないうちに訴えられる可能性もあるかもしれないです。
