Hey, your profile says UK but I knew a small artist here in the states many years ago also named Alex Day that looked alot like you as well. Is the profile just wrong? Adrian Steel somewhere you worked before?

@@AlexDay1 Aw man, I think he must have deleted his YT channel. I know he was struggling with getting his music out there. Both of y’all are kinda cursed by the original Alex Day being the first and almost only thing that comes up when searching the name. He was semi-famous, had a lot of subs and views but fell off in controversy. The guy I knew had some really good original songs, I was rooting for him. Used to write songs and share with him during work, he was a good guy, told him he should change his name so maybe he did that.

@@AlexDay1 wow, well I found who I was looking for kind of. Apparently YT has an auto-generator function that puts together a sort of compendium of an artists work without videos in something called a Topic channel. It gets updated automatically by YT everyday with his official songs but has nothing to do with the artist so he probably doesn’t even know it exists.
What I found most interesting though is the original Alex Day I was talking about previously is who YT has put in the channel description thinking they are the same person even though all of the music in this “Topic channel” is from the guy I knew. The description says the original Alex Day actually had many Top 40 hits in specifically the UK…
Unfortunately they aren’t videos, they have no comment section and the last song he released was over 2 years ago so I kind of don’t feel like I found him as well. I’m sure you don’t care lol but I thought all of this is quite interesting. The strange triangle of very similar looking musical Alex’s.
