Do you know much about the changes made between Broadway the tour and current versions? I was in Anastasia recently and they changed it I know from Broadway. Not just from Hartford. For example, we did not have Crossing a Bridge the song. Do you know a lot about this?
That's so cool that you were in the show. I actually made a video essay about the changes from Hartford to Broadway. Link here. ua-cam.com/video/aXxX3C-LFnA/v-deo.htmlsi=jGEUb3gejj8L6mO9 Most changes I noticed from the second national tour specifically were that the set was more stripped down, there was no physical train, and the song Crossing A Bridge was cut and replaced with a reprise of Paris Holds The Key. Anya's outburst during Learn To Do It was cut. Also, there was no turn table or glass windows. So during the Still/The Neva Flows Reprise the Romanovs and officers were literally standing center stage behind Anya and Gleb.
@anastasiafan There was a reprise of Paris Holds the Key after the Broadway version changed? I missed that! We didn't have Crossing the Bridge, but I don't remember having a reprise. I'm also not sure about Everyrhing to Win, but I also don't remember which song that was at the moment. Have you ever found a recording of the song When She Walks that got cut from the original production before it was ever performed?
@@Edentify-cb2ge The Paris Holds the Key reprise was very short. I miss Crossing A Bridge. Everything to Win is still there. No, I wish I could find a recording of When She Walks In. That sounds like it would have been a good song. I'm bummed that I can't find it anywhere.
@@anastasiafan Fr. Ill have to go back amd find out about the reprise. I have found a piano cover and a quick clip of When Dhe Walks In, but that is abt all.
@@Edentify-cb2ge here's the Paris reprise. It's very short ua-cam.com/users/shortsUWZF23AnnCA?si=jP3ZTgCk4XqYCcaJ And yeah, I only found piano music for the cut Dimitri song too
