Great video! Always interested to learn about other packages and how they do variable management. Interesting that SW has an issue patterning that jogged tab. I plan to model by patterning a multibody and boolean fuse.
I GET THE 26 BUT I DONT GET THAT SECOND DIMENSION FROM THE EDGE OF CIRCLE. I GET THE HEIGHT AT 33 THE RADIUS 8 EVEN THYE 76 WHERE DO YOU GET THAT 4.94 FROM?
I was trying to get the dimension from the edge of the model to be a nice round number, but the dimension to the start of the jog was comming from the intersection of the circular edge and the side edge of the jog. So that number is oddball = 4.94
The best solidwork tutorial channel explains everything to a great detail.
Thanks James!
I am here to tell you guys that I am student from CSWP prep program and I passed with flying colors. Now I am certified, thank you Toby!

Nice! Yeah I’m now sure what’s up with that jog pattern!
Sometimes you have splines seperated into 2 sketches, you can controll the connection point angle of both splines for nice smooth surfaces :)

What if you want to do an array and you change It from 4 to 6, for example? I Guess isnt posible, si It?
It doesn’t work using this method, but there are some other methods that would allow you to pattern this feature!
Its so hard to me made this, because im ussing onhape on ipad, no have jog tools
Yeah I’m now sure how to build this in onshape - I’ll have to give it a try
I use them when I solve CSWA . Dragoș
Nice - Pro Move!
