I'm reluctant to say that this one of the best covers I've heard because it is one of the best covers I have heard of this carol. The only thing I would say is just try creating moments of silence by only letting a couple of instruments play in one passage. This allows for a grander re entry or a "drop". You create something similar at 0:19 - 0:27
That’s awesome I’m only starting to make beats using a MIDI keyboard(and by that I mean making the beats myself instead of using samples), and I can only hope to make something like this! Keep up the good work! I love Carol of The Bells, so I love pretty much every remix of it as well!
Hey there Annie, if you’re wondering about the kalimba instrument, here’s how you can access it. First, go to a new project in GarageBand. Next, you’re going to select the keyboard instrument. After that, you’ll see a small icon with 3 vertical lines in the top left corner. Once you’ve opened up that menu, then click the blue highlighted instrument name in the top left corner, right below your settings icons. For me it says “Grand Piano”. Now, once you are in this menu with many different instrument choices, scroll down to where one of the sections says “Other”. In there, there will be many more instrument choices including guitars, violins, horns, and also the “Kalimba” instrument. What you are looking for is the instrument which says “Glockenspiel”. It will be right below the instrument choice “Brass ensemble”, as well. Anyways, hope that this helps you, and if you are confused by any of this then I could potentially make a tutorial of how to traverse GarageBand and its menus.

Oml it’s stunning… 🤩
Thank you!
