You do some killer work there mate. The effort you’ve put into the engine bay on the HG is awesome, why don’t you pull the 186 down and clean it up internally? Are you going to put a V8 in it soon? What ever you do I look forward to watching it 🤙🏽

Yeah good stuff man. That 186 is gunna need some attention for sure! ATF is your friend, might help loosen things up with it. At the same time my head is wondering what CLR would do to it, experimental thinking ha ha. The Corty looks sweet as. Do ya know who owned it in the NT? Might have some old Holden 6 bits, I'll have to check. I know I have an almost perfect LJ Grill, it's mounted above my shed door ha ha. Also have an original LJ Steering Wheel. Not sure I want to sell them, just a thought. Definitley have some VL stuff too. Cheers.
They seem to vary on condition some $500 to $2500 but I got this one for free. It turned out to be no good but I’m not complaining. I’ll make something from parts laying around 👌🏻
Put the 186S manifold and carbie on that engine. One of Holden"s best motors.

I think I’m gonna have to! The engine turned out to be rooted, was pretty well locked solid, but I got it for nothing so no complaints there!
@@Evans_Racing it’s a Holden 6. A quick hone, new rings and bearings, small cam and it’ll put like a kitten. Happy days 🤙🏽

Can i ask what a long 186 motor is worth these days ? the prem is coming along great too.
