I work full time I have a support dog for my anxiety but there are most days I go without food or very little food because I rather my dog not go hungry it’s been really hard I’m in tears most days when I find my bills or rent is going up im so exhausted and tired I wish this suffering would end 😢

I live in The Netherlands and have visited UK twice. It was really strange to see so much grass and no agriculture. Besides that, in The Netherlands farmers have to leave because of the so called environmental/climate problems. In fact the plant are to make The Netherlands the capitol of Europe. Its insane.
I have not changed my food habits as I don’t do anything else now apart from buy birthday presents. I am also prone to illness because I already grew up with food insecurity, so resorting to carbs and biscuits again will be the last step before homelessness.
I feel lucky that it relaxed a bit in Germany, I mean rent, heating and electricity went up, but not as bad as in England, and it has remained stable for a year now, electricity even went down a little. For comparison, we pay 120€/month for gas/heating and 55€/month for electricity in a 3 bedroom flat with 3 people. It used to be 85€ and 35€ so the change is there, but it's manageable. In the UK it's simply madness

I'm always staggered to learn what ppl are paying for their energy. Before 2022 my energy bills averaged out at £30 elec and £30 gas for 1 month. I've managed to keep gas down by cutting back, and my elec is about £42/month now. Food and tobacco are very expensive though, these days. I think it's been worse than the figures they're quoting in this video.
