our radio signals have been sent out since we invented radio but they will be that weak they will probably get lost in the noise of space and if i remember right we did send out a signal from the now destroyed arecibo array but that was more of a signal and strength test than a dedicated "we are here" signal , and its now thought that the "wow" signal was actually a comet , there was another signal picked up that repeated everyday and after searching all the radio bands and looking for machinery faults etc it was discovered a worker was warming his dinner up in a nearby microwave at the same time everyday lol.

Fermi paradox - The apparent contradiction between the lack of evidence for extraterrestrial civilizations and various high estimates for their probability.
Abiotic emergence of ordered information stored in the form of RNA is an important unresolved problem concerning the origin of life.
A polymer longer than 40-100 nucleotides is necessary to expect a self-replicating activity, but the formation of such a long polymer having a correct nucleotide sequence by random reactions seems statistically unlikely.
The expected number of abiogenesis events is much smaller than unity when we observe a star, a galaxy, or even the whole observable universe.
The observable universe is just a tiny part of the whole universe and there is no strong reason to expect more than one abiogenesis event in such a small region.
This gives an explanation to the Fermi’s paradox (we need a much larger universe to have other life than earth - the multiverse)
