After the first Falsetto run and Key change she has MANY pitches spots although she saved it on the ending . But how could he send home Mentissa for her performance when Kay just never lived up to the blinds . I saw the Lou Mai trajectory all over her . She'd have lost her cross battle because her team is stacked and shes just young.... :( Amel would have put her all the way thru like she did w Tom when Terence and Toni both smashed their performances, Tom was pitchy, shaky and never lived up to his blind even once but he was Amel's favorite. No doubt she'd do it for Kay. If she was smart this year she should go on vocal quality and take Anik and get rid of Niki .

I don,t speak French but I listen to Kay singing this over and over again . How could they have under estimated her talent no justice at all on her behalf she is wonderful her tones her range , how many people in the world can sing like Kay . Kay is utterly wondrous, with such an uniquely ethereal and gorgeous voice. I am perplexed why any judge would not want to continue to develop her voice and talent. Yes, there were some pitch issues with this sound, but what she did with her voice doing this wonderful performance, and especially at the end, shows a tremendous and undeniable vocal ability. I adore her, and wish we could have heard more of her gorgeous singing in this competition. Keep reaching for the stars, Kay. You have legions of admirers arond the world. ❤️👍😊
The fact that she didn't move on to the next round after this performance is mind boggling. IMO the others could have went home then and there and they crown her the winner. A voice like this is world class. Some small mistakes here and there but that doesn't matter when the talent is so massive
I didn't see the show, she didn't get picked?! How is that even possible? Her voice is haunting. Now I got to hear the other singers because I can't believe anyone beat her.

If I remember, he just said something like her voice was missing some maturity but anyway we lost an angel that day...
During the auditions I said that I didn't like Vianney as a coach. With the decision not to catch Kay I can confirm my decision. Kay you are an angel and you deserve something better
Kay ... breathtaking. Sublime. Exquisite. I didn't like how Vianney blocked Amel from even possibly getting Kay on her team. So, I dislike the block/bloqué maneuver altogether, in every country that uses it. It's ridiculous and has nothing to do with an artist finding the best possible coach to take her through the competition. It's a desperate attempt for the producers to make the show more edgy and "entertaining," but it's unnecessary. Secondly, Vianney was a pure jerk (I'd use a less flattering word, but prefer not to go "there") about it, and now, I cannot imagine why he didn't keep Kay on the show. Her KO performance completely knocked me out ... she was magnificent, and showed again why she had 4 coaches turn for her.

ok there are a lot of pitch issues. But you cannot deny that the 6 seconds from 1:47 to 1:53 are one of the most beautiful vocal moments of the ENTIRE season. Like that is what the angels sing when you are dying and you pass peacefully to the other side...Also, I would want to hear a concert or an album from her, and she has so much more potential than the males that are through... I truly hope she improves the pitch and the chest part of her voice and becomes the international star she needs to be.

I am Latina fluent in Spanish and English. I’ve never listened to French music before but WOW this angel sang so beautifully. It amazes me how every language has such unique melodies and diversity, it’s almost like you experience music on a different level with every language. Jsuis complètement d'accord, et ça m'a fait aussi super mal qu'elle soit éliminée, parcequ'elle a tellement de potentiel et je pense que elle-même ne le sait pas encore. Mais le truc c'est qu'elle a encore besoin d'esperience pour piuvoir gérer a bien son stress et reussir a transmettre non seulement de l'émotion comme elle sait si bien le faire mais aussi a délivrer une performance impecable vocalement. C'est la raison pour laquelle elle n'est pas allé plus loin dans la compétition. Moi perso je la voyais arriver jusqu'au live mais bon... le choix est fait. Une chose est sûr, c'est une STAR!! et si elle n'abandonne pas, elle va reussir!
Je ne pense que les fausses notes dont parle viannney s'appliquent à cette prestation, mais plûtôt à celle des BATTLES. La preuve il a parlé de CONSTANCE, qu'elle en manquait. Pour ma part j'ai trouvé cela hors de propos et injuste. Car si il n'avait pas aimé sa précédente c'est à ce moment qu'il aurait dû la laisser partir. Arrivé à cette étape, elle devrait être jugé que sur le moment et cette prestation unique. Le problème n'était donc pas le manque de projection, mais sa fixette sur une performance passée, ce qui pour moi a été une ERREUR de sa part.

je suis triste qu'elle soit partie, je pense que les fausses notes dont vianney parle peuvent être travaillées pr moi quand l'emotion est telle on peut passer au dessus des imperfections . Elle est assez unique en son genre !
Jsuis complètement d'accord, et ça m'a fait aussi super mal qu'elle soit éliminée, parcequ'elle a tellement de potentiel et je pense que elle-même ne le sait pas encore. Mais le truc c'est qu'elle a encore besoin d'esperience pour piuvoir gérer a bien son stress et reussir a transmettre non seulement de l'émotion comme elle sait si bien le faire mais aussi a délivrer une performance impecable vocalement. C'est la raison pour laquelle elle n'est pas allé plus loin dans la compétition. Moi perso je la voyais arriver jusqu'au live mais bon... le choix est fait. Une chose est sûr, c'est une STAR!! et si elle n'abandonne pas, elle va reussir!
Je ne pense que les fausses notes dont parle viannney s'appliquent à cette prestation, mais plûtôt à celle des BATTLES. La preuve il a parlé de CONSTANCE, qu'elle en manquait. Pour ma part j'ai trouvé cela hors de propos et injuste. Car si il n'avait pas aimé sa précédente c'est à ce moment qu'il aurait dû la laisser partir. Arrivé à cette étape, elle devrait être jugé que sur le moment et cette prestation unique. Le problème n'était donc pas le manque de projection, mais sa fixette sur une performance passée, ce qui pour moi a été une ERREUR de sa part.
