Great video of CCNY I plan on transferring to CCNY in 2024 after I get my associate degree from BCC. Thank for showing where everything is, so I don't get lost on campus like where the ID office, and library. MY cousin also got master's degree from CCNY, and is an alumni of CCNY, and she went to John Jay for her bachelor's degree. What advice would you give me!
I graduated in 2012. This evening I was feeling CCNY nostalgic and stumbled across this video. I still live in NYC but I have not visited campus in quite a long time. This video brought back some amazing memories. As some other comments stated, the NAC building has not changed much. I have an older brother who graduated from CCNY in 2000 and I remember visiting him in the Marshak building when he was a Sophie Davis student. My parents used to drop him off to his Harlem apartment every Sunday night and I was enamored by the beauty of the campus. I've been obsessed with CCNY since I was a child and so it was a no brainer that I would eventually go there myself. You've earned yourself a subscriber and I am looking forward to seeing more CCNY related content!
Thanks for watching + sub! It’s nice to know that my video is still reaching many CCNY graduates like yourself. If you want a little more CCNY content, feel free to check out my latest Halloween video which was filmed on campus.

I graduated in 1988, then I moved out of state to take a job. CCNY did a fabulous job of preparing me for a career in electrical engineering. I have so many good memories, but I haven't been back to the campus. This video is awesome, a lot hasn't changed, except for all of the development south of the NAC building. In my day, you never went south of the NAC building. The NAC was an ugly building back then as well, but those windows have gotten really bad, I didn't even know they were plastic. We almost always got lunch from the bodegas on Amsterdam Ave, the cafeteria in the NAC was only good for breakfast.
This video has been gaining so much traction lately which has allowed me to reach many CCNY graduates such as yourself. Thank you for leaving such an informative comment and thank you for watching!
thank you so much for this video! I am a parisian student, considering a year abroad at CCNY. I didn’t find any accurate campus tour except from your video,so thank you. Do you have any comments to make on the quality of the courses?
Love this video. You should do a part 2 & show inside Shepard & the Gargoyles we discovered during class. Also the library & the private study rooms on each floor is an great place to go to study & do homework (long as it’s not the 3rd floor) lastly all the great views you get of the city from the NAC building
I got accepted and I will be attending ccny in fall of this year, Went there as a cuny explorer and thank you for the refresher I am kind of excited for the journey
Thanks for your video and this let me know more about CCNY,I haven’t been to there before, but I wanted to apply next year! I really hope I will receive the college offer from CCNY. So, In a sense, you're my senior. Lol😊
School looks nice I graduated in 1994. I believe the architecture building is new. I believe the building that was there was called the Y building. I really enjoyed my time there. Do they still have club hours on Thursday's at noon?
I’ve never heard of the Y building before. Thanks for sharing that bit of history! You’re right, CCNY still has club hours on the same day at the same time 👍
I have never bought food from the school cafeteria so I can’t answer that question. I along with many other students, usually get food from stores surrounding the campus. There are halal trucks, delis, Hispanic food spots, and other nice places to get food all at a low price!
1974 graduate here…would have been more interested in a tour of the campus itself vs. inside the buildings. Is the south campus no longer there? I think where you were in that building was where the old stadium used to be…
Thank you for this video!! It was very informational and you have a great personality! I'm interested in attending this college and this video helps with that.

Thank you for making this video! I’m interested in transferring here from a community college! I love your humor this video was so entertaining and fun! Love the editing! What are your thoughts on the dorms/towers? And do they have any residential amenities like gym there! Love the video 🙏😀
I appreciate your kind words. Unfortunately, I have no experience with the dorms/towers so I cannot comment on that. As for the inquiry regarding the gym, there’s one located on the 3rd floor of Wingate Hall. It has equipment for weight training and even features an indoor track. Hope that was helpful. Thank you for watching!
Damn we only have to show our id on the shuttle from the train station or to it from here n there but not in the buildings but this was a sick idea for a video I did a vlog of a day in the life on my channel going to my college but didn’t think to give a tour of the campus I might do one eventually
Yup, things hasn’t changed much since late 80‘s at CCNY - that’s when I graduated from School of Engineering. I moved to Bay Area a week after graduation and never came back to visit CCNY when I visit NYC. My experience at City was a mixed bag. Some professors were very good and some were downright terrible. I heard about some policy changes since then specifically in Admissions - hopefully for the better. I just consider it as a life experience which has helped me shaped to appreciate my career as a Software Engineer.
This would have been helpful at the beginning of Fall Semester 2022 I came late lol I went to the downtown campus so when I had to go uptown I would be so confused lol I graduated this year though so it's not necessary anymore.vMake sense why the cafeteria was a mess. I tried to eat there but I thought it was crazy freshmen with tons of energy 😂😂 makes sense it's highschool students.
Hey, how do you apply to CCNY separately if you have already applied as a Macaulay student but selected CCNY as your campus? Does that count as your application for CCNY itself. I hope this makes sense

Should I take admission for my masters in computer science in ccny and what's the fees it's 20k dollors if I'm wrong could you correct me please
does ccny have in-campus dorms? or did I just miss you saying that?
This college does in fact have on-campus housing. The dorms are located at The Towers which is just a short walk away from the main buildings.

It’s safer than some other places in the city but you should still be aware of your surroundings especially in the after hours.
