Back in 2018, I spent $575 for my VP9SK. Today an OR slide at the H&K parts website is $405, and an HS SCS VP9 is $412. Not sure I can justify buying those to upgrade. I can buy a new VP9SK with the HS SCS on it already for about $1100.

@@RepentorPerish77 I have an apex trigger in my full 509T and I believe I have an apex striker in my 509c. To be honest I’ve dry fired a ton and used my 509t for uspsa competitions and I have never had any striker issues whatsoever. That Apex trigger is pretty nice though.

The “normal” version of the VP9SK, pre-Covid, was UNDER $500 at Cabela’s and Bass Pro!!! Worse case scenario, add $100 for the additional machine work.

It would be nice if HK can up grade the capacity to 12 rds with flushed magazines and actually have an extended one with 15 rds on it. Just an idea.., come on now HK!
@@MRsolidcolor You get all the plates, for free, in the box when you buy the FN MRD/Tactical. All of them, they even threw in two 24rd factory mags with mine. Also, all new 509s are coming from the factory with a new flat-faced trigger that’s wayyy better than old ones.
HK is sluggish because they do a lot of testing before releasing anything, but they're a lot better at following the market than half the companies out there. And UNLIKE sig sauer and smith&wesson who do their testing on impatient customers, HK takes pride in their products as they are 100% bombproof on release.

Its nice to see, but this was HK's big announcement? Shows they have NOTHING new on the horizon at all for there customers. Make us a PSG-1 or a newer PSG-2 then we will be excited. JUST LAZY!

I daily carry a P30 SK and it is great like it is. no optic on my CC but that is just me. It has not had one malfunction in over 2k rounds.

Got mine for $829, glad I saw this before I got an RMR. I have a Q4 SF, adding an optics plate looks so tacky on guns but it is what it is.

Don’t bother if you’re trying to direct mount. Unless you have the .40 version, you’re out of luck without an adapter plate.
