Trike is an excellent choice since it has a larger foot print on the road making you more visible to other drivers. I own a 2021 and love it because it's comfortable, stable, and great looking. Also, the storage capacity is phenomenal! You can't go wrong with a trike!

The reverse is NOT off the starter motor. It has it's own motor attached to the rear belt pulley.

Tri Glides and Free Wheelers do not have Hill Assist because it is not needed.

It’s not driven by the starter, it has its own starter type motor for reverse, nothing to do with the trikes engine starter

You kept saying it’s not a triglide ultra it’s a trike. I presume you mean a solo glide ultra v triglide

The electric reverse is garbage. HD should fit a mechanical reverse as standard.
