Jrock, thanks man. I have never really wanted to start or spend time on bottin but this clip completely broke it down to where I want to mess with it. Thank you so much. Seriously!
Love the way the concepts were broken down. Especially the "LOGIC" concept. However I disagree that the dance will look boring if done at the same pace. Gayner, the bother who has scoliosis uses very minimal movement which is done at the same pace, and he is phenomenal.
Question: Do you tense your muscles during the moves? For example: While lifting your arm (only soulder moves) do you tense your muscles to stop your elbow from moving or is it relaxed and you learn to control it in time??
I get the idea of not using certain things while doing certain moves bc it can look sloppy or rushed or takes away completely from the technique which should go with a lot of different techniques. Like now most robot, popping, bopping, animation it looks like uncontrolled movement. No real flow or understanding of the skill itself to push the boundaries of a skill. Old school thinking keeps the idea of foundation and technique. You have to know your own body and its limits also. Everyone cannot do what another does
Hey Mr J
I like that Robot more than any other.....
Thanks man 😊

You're very good at teaching the philosophy (and history) of each style, move, etc.
Simple and Informative tut
IMHO, I believe you outdid yourself - as far as posting this tutorial is concerned. I appreciate you posting this, JRock... much respect!
