Thank you for being a good teacher and caring about those of us thT are not on a quick learning curve.Im sorry misery loves company and people can't hold there tongues.bless you.
Thank you so much for doing this floating spine!! Having individual technique videos are awesome! You can notes label the technique which is easier to locate later if you forget how to do this!
Love how you handle obnoxious people Melina! I have said it before, you have to feel sorry for the people who feel they have to post negative comments, they must have unhappy lives. Keep being you!
Hi, Melina, your videos are so informative, and easy to follow. Please don’t change a thing--as Tim Holtz says “ you do you “ and you are doing just fine. See you in the next video.
Melina thank you. I’m new to this and I’ve watched many tutorials but still felt unsure. Your video today has given me the confidence to get started. You are very much appreciated. Once again …. Thank you so much ❤️
I love watching your videos and I can’t believe someone made such a snarky comment either. You handled those rude remarks beautifully. Thanks again for sharing your talents ❤
Thank you so much for sharing, I have made 1 journal and my spine did not work and I was soo disappointed, so I am one person who appreciates this lesson from you. I am going to try this and make another one…I thoroughly enjoy watching you, thank you xx
I just started my own book cover...and it did not work at all..bubbles..dents from clips...I literally ruined a canvas I painted!! Maybe 100 hours work!!! Talk about sad...and now that I'm sort of back on track I need this type of tut...
Thank you for your patience when displaying techniques. I appreciate you showing the way you do things. You never know when it is the first time someone is watching. I loved this technique for a hidden spine.
I love your videos and how you teach. You are a great teacher! These critical viewers need to get over trying to tell you how to do your projects. Good grief, life is hard enough without having to deal with folks that think their way is the only way. You keep doing it your way, Melina! I ha e learned a lot from you and your Mom, and I love the way you do things. Thank you! 😊 ❤️
Aloha from Hawaii🌺❤️Im sorry that there are rude people or trolls who don't have better things to do than write bad things to you. You are the sweetest gal who loves to teach us crafter easy and simple ways to do hidden book binding in this tutorial. Im new to junk journaling and want to learn more. You explain very well the step by step on this. I watched your other tutorial videos and enjoy every single one of them to the fullest❤ Dont let anyone bring you down, which they didnt, obviously, cause you simply move on with a smile or a chuckle 😄 Thank you sooo much for sharing❤...👩💻New scubscriber👩💻 to your channel as i enjoy watching your tutorials❤ Aloha🌺
Oh my goodness. I’m so sorry you are having to read negative comments. This is a crafting video. We all do things differently and learn from each other. Thats the beauty of crafting. I’ve been crafting since I was a little girl, many years ago 🤣🤣 but am new to journaling. Im happy to watch this video. Thanks for taking time out of your very busy schedule for this. I’ll watch all of your others too. ❤️❤️❤️
Melina, thanks for doing this video! I like watching the diverse ways many crafters accomplish the same task, it gives me options when one way doesn’t seem to work for me. ❤
Great video! Thanks for sharing, I didn’t know how to sew a hidden spine and now I do. And I have a great tutorial to refer to when I forgot. And I will. Lol. 💕🤣
I am glad you did this video. I am planning a hidden spine for my signature and now I am confident to do it. Thank you. Sorry for rude people...I just don't get their reason. You explain so well. Hugs
My Momma always said “if it ain’t broke don’t try to fix it”. I love your videos, you are a great teacher and I have learned a lot. Sometimes seeing something for a second or third time helps me remember. Keep doing what you are doing!
You are a great help to me! I appreciate your channel and creative ideas. I made a few journals that had a similar spine (it was cut from top hole to bottom hole and then the signature slipped under the cut and glued with double sided tape. No sewing on the one I did.) well Fast forward about 2 years and I saw the journals (I had given them to my grandchildren). Well, the spines had come unglued! Gulp!!! I felt so bad! But as you and miss E say, anything can be fix and I was able to fix it with glue and more sticky tape. Anyway, I think the way you do it by sewing the signatures in with waxed thread will last longer and be more durable. So from now on I’ll be doing mine like yours. I thought it looked better to do it the other way but I found that that kind of spine just doesn’t hold up Over time.
Thank you so much Melina for showing this. I am new and get all fingers and thumbs doing the spine. So I really appreciated seeing this. Thank you from New Zealand!!.
Thank you for your video. I'm new to journaling nad need all the help I can get. Your video was basic and informative and really helped me so thank you!
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I'm getting ready to do a hidden spine in my peacock journal. I've never made a hidden spine before, and your video popped up and I've learned so much 🙂 from you and your videos.
Thank you so much for showing this video. I’m new to journaling and I’ve never seen this done. I love it and I’m going to try it! Your videos are easy to follow along. Keep them coming 🌸
I love watching you and I learn something different every time… I haven’t tried this yet because I’m just getting the single signature doable for me… I watch and rewatch the videos also… haters gonna hate❤❤❤❤ love yall and get some much needed rest💜
Hi Melina, thank you for this tutorial! I have a question, why not just use the wet glue alone rather than including score tape? I’m new at this and I’ve seen this technique used often. Thank you!
What i need help with is i have the two outside boards made...covered them with paintings i did...now i need that middle piece added and havent a clue how to go about it...
This is how I have done mine, but mine doesn't lay flat and I was woundering if you might know why or what I am doing wrong? And don't worry about those rude people. People like to do things differently. And yeah the other ways may be easier to them but this way may be easier to you and others... just like this way is easier to me than the other easier way.
Thank you for being a good teacher and caring about those of us thT are not on a quick learning curve.Im sorry misery loves company and people can't hold there tongues.bless you.

There are always beginners. They need to learn how to also. Melina is correct don't watch if you don't want to go over it again.
The coolest process ❤❤

Try using less pages in your signatures and leave some space on either side of the interior spine to cut down on the tension when opening and closing.
