I've listened to this hundreds of times and it never gets old. I wouldn't change a single note. The song is about war. The beginning is the lead up to war. The middle is the battle and the last part is the peace after the battle. I suggest you do "Awaken" next. It takes you on an uplifting spiritual journey. Here's a great live version: ua-cam.com/video/nDXccU0xgNo/v-deo.html or the studio version. But it's amazing how close the live version is to the studio version.
So excited that you are getting into YES. And getting their music. The ethereal feeling of each song. YAY! Keep going. There is so much YES to love! They have been my favorite band since I was 15. I’m now 66…but sure as hell don’t feel it. All because of music. It keeps your spirit young! ☮️❤️🎼😎
You got a big hole in your journey. That would be Roundabout. The remastered studio version from 1971 and the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction from 2018, with Geddy Lee from Rush on bass because Chris Squire had died by then. Yours Is No Disgrace, I've Seen All Good People, South Side Of The Sky, Long Distance Runaround are a good lineup. The Yes Album, Fragile, Close To The Edge, Relayer and Going For The One are the classic records. Second side of CTTE with And You And I and Siberian Khatru and gems and are different from CTTE and each other, they are exquisite. A real harpsichord, not electronic, is getting shredded like a guitar by Rick Wakeman in the middle ofSiberian Khatru
i know the song roundabout (gotta check out the lyrics thou to study them ) but i did not see with geddy lee defenitly will check it out :D along with other stuff :D .. thank you :D

I am coming up for my 74th birthday and have had the pleasure of seeing Yes play this live on many occasions, probably the best prog band in the world, Jon Andersons lyrics are inspiring, hope you enjoy your Yes journey as much as I have. Peace and love.
BEST...BAND...EVER. Thanks!! for the reaction.
