Disney on Ice was a HUGE part of my childhood, I think my mom took me to every one that came in town. One performance we realized that my ice skating instructor played Aladdin so we made sure he signed our book at my next lesson.
I am in actual tears right now going to high school musical on ice was one of the greatest nights of my life makes me so happy to see that they’re still making magic.
This was awesome! Thank you for validating my love of Disney on Ice as an adult. I've always felt a little self conscious about being a lone grown up among a sea of young children. These days I am a mom myself and have taken my girls along with me a few times, but I've been going to see these shows my whole life. I went when I was in college and when I first moved to California with my husband after we got married. When I was learning to drive as a teenager in the late 90s, going to see Hercules on Ice was a bribe to get me to practice!
What I picked up from this video is that there is obviously a lot of love and fun that goes into all aspects of creating these Disney On Ice shows. It's always showed on every show I've seen. But it's so cool to see the fun and hard work that goes into creating them. Thanks for sharing it with us, Dan!
This was super fun! I love behind-the-scenes tours of theater shows, it really makes you appreciate the creativity and love that goes into every performance beyond what you briefly see on stage…or the ice!

I love that Casey Jr train in their lunch room! I want to see a Disney on Ice show that is based on all attractions instead of the movies. Like a Tiki room, Space Moutain and Haunted Mansion number! That would be so fun.
This was fascinating! I never went to DOI as a kid, but this looks like so much fun. I especially loved the bladeless pair sets, it makes so much sense for Ariel and Eric. Love to see how they're pushing the envelope with their performances!

I know Wish is very divisive and not everyone's favorite (I enjoyed it personally) but I agree it definitely needs some more exposure in the parks. I'm glad there's finally a live action Magnifico and hopefully they put him in the parks other than Asha. He'd fit right in Oogie Boogie Halloween Bash.
I appreciate the use of parade music from the parks. I remember hearing some of Magic Happens mixed in when I went to the Frozen & Encanto show last year.
You should have a link to have people buy Disney on Ice tickets on your channel info so you can get a cut of the profits somehow. I hope Disney on Ice offers that program soon if they don't already. Watching this made me realize I should buy tickets for my kids to go watch it and I did.
Feld Entertainment needs to bring back Marvel Universe Live to the U.S. with new heroes and villains. It also needs to get with DreamWorks Animation to do a new 'Trolls' show where Velvet and Veneer takes over the show with their retelling of the 'Trolls' trilogy. Phineas and Ferb also deserve their time on ice since they already took over the stage in their 1st live show.
