So like I said, there are 7 members in this group. 4 rappers and 3 vocalists. Everyone rapped, with two of the vocalists making their debut in this song.
I’m going to recommend more of their hip hop songs, particularly the XG TAPEs, and maybe HESONOO & X-GENE. Their other works lean more on the poppy side.
With the XG TAPEs, there are a total of 4. I recommend starting with TAPE #2, the GALZ XYPHER, as this is what made them go viral.
SHOW YOU CAN is also another rap song by them, specifically performed by Maya and Cocona, but it’s not found on their official channel. You’ll have to find the lyric video floating around.

XG started training around 2017. the 7 japanese girls started at very young ages. i think from age 11 to 15. Their ages now are 18-22. they are headquartered in Korea. promote in the Kpop space like other kpop groups but sing/release songs officially in English to reach a global audience. thier first single "Tippy Toes" released in 2022 followed by "Mascara". They had a viral video called Galz Xypher where Cocona shocked everyone with her amazing rapping. the other 3 rappers Maya,Harvey and Jurin did fantastic raps as well. The next official releases were "Shooting Star" and "Left Right" and these two songs took them to another level. They went on to release an album called New DNA where every song gave a different vibe but one thing was constant. they were all bangers. these girls are committed to every sound they produce and have swag to spare. on the supplementary side of things XG also released rap and vocal content. As J-pop has been focused on internal market for a long time and Avex wished to changed this situation. Avex put huge budget on XG to create global girls group . Initial training was held in Japan for building up their basic skills like dancing, rapping and singing. As you can see that they have solid skill for everything which required to be a first class artist. Afterwards, they chose Korea as a market for promotion, channel to global market. That’s why some people misunderstand that XG is K-pop but they clearly define and manifest themselves as X-pop. Thirty adolescent females aged 11-15 were chosen for the endeavor and housed in a dormitory. Along with their academic education, they received instruction in singing, rapping, and dance. The girls were split into groups based on their skill level, and their covers and freestyle rapping were reviewed frequently. The individual dance choreography was reviewed weekly . After two years of competition, ten members remained, and they pursued their general education while also receiving training in performance and science behind music . Now, the evaluations are only used to improve individual skills.The dance group assessment involved all candidates working together to develop a choreography on a weekly basis.
Eventually, after 3 years seven of the ten trainees were chosen to be a part of XG.

I would strongly recommend listening to XG on The First Take on UA-cam. The program where the idol groups just sit in a semi-circle with high quality microphones and sing live. They did this for two songs, 'Shooting Star' and 'Winter Without You'. These live versions are better than the studio recordings. Note, every single member of XG is beautiful inside and out and they're all about mindset, teamwork, hard work, and being kind while still fighting for what they believe in and having killer senses of humor.
