Tawa Paneer Wraps | Chana Bhature | Punjabi Samosas | Indian Street Food | Diwali Festival in London

- It was Diwali 2022, we were in Trafalgar Square in London and it was Crazy Busy; because the whole of the world famous Square has been turned into a little taste of India.
Granted that there were no fireworks but the air was filled with the wonderful spicy aromas of Indian Street Foods & Curries and Gujarati & Hindi seems to be the only languages that you can hear, being here is the next best thing to actually being in India...
Quite appropriately Mr Bombay was the name of the Street Food Stall that we visited. A visit to this stall really did remind us of India!!!
These guys look like they know a thing or two about serving up authentic Indian food, especially as they established their Vegetarian "Sweet & Savoury Centre" shops' "Gupta's" in 1979 & 1981.

If we ever pass their shops, we can never ever resist getting their samosas; which are absolutely delicious but also affordably cheap.
Their two shops are located at:
100 Drummond St, London NW1 2HN
262 Watford Way, London NW4 4UJ
If you have any questions you can call them on 020 8203 4044 or 020 7380 1590
A special thank you to Deep, Rakhi & Rakesh Gupta & her "Street Food Wallahs" who very much welcomed us and graciously allowed us a privileged glimpse into their "Mumbai inspired street food kitchen" to do the videoing.

((Okay! Now we're talking. At last, a video with NO DOSAs. Dosa(s) - - surely the most over-rated Indian food item ever.)) These folks at Mr. Bombay are serving up some great-looking dishes. The Paneer wrap looks great. Are those Onion Bhajis with the samosas? And, pray tell, what is the dish which looks like noodles?
Although they (the Mr. Bombay people) didn't project much "hospitality and grace," it seemed none of the customers seemed to mind, so I guess it's OK. I wish I could taste their Samosas. Thanks for the background information.
Thank you for watching & your comment.
The are only a few places in London which serve genuinely great dosas (Saravanaa Bhava is one such place).
"Are those Onion Bhajis with the samosas"?
Yes, they are Onion Bhajias with the Samosas...
"And, pray tell, what is the dish which looks like noodles"?
They were indeed noodles.
"I wish I could taste their Samosas".
I have to say that their samosas are genuinely delicious, they have a long established small shop (Gupta's) in Drummond Street and I will always get their samosas if I happen to be passing close by. If you happen to go always ask if they are still hot (from frying) and they serve it with a chutney (which you may have to ask for).
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤲🏻🤲🏻🎁👍🏻🙏🏻
Thank you for watching 👍🏼🙏🏽💚
