Living in Phil, I find myself praying every day, thanking God for the beauty and asking for His guidance. Great testimony Tim. I think we met at the Red Table with John the Marine? (He's my neighbor at Big Rock;)
What a story about Tim’s baby! It is so unbelievable to hear about Tim’s newborn baby getting pneumonia. How is that possible for a newborn baby to get pneumonia??! The experience in the public hospitals sounds horrific. Such a blessing and relief to hear his baby quickly became healthy. That is truly a miracle.
@@americanchristianinphilipp960 My mother was an old-school hospital nurse in Canada plus later in her career she was a College teacher. I visited her in many hospitals and clinics and knew several doctors growing up. This is the very first time in my life I ever heard of a newborn baby catching pneumonia. I still can’t believe it. Also hearing Tim’s baby was kept separate from it’s mother for over an hour laying on a table with many other babies in another room is shocking! I do not understand why or how this is happening there. I’m sorry to say, but this sounds to me like complete negligence and incompetence.
When a single guy goes to Dumaguete they're going to meet a lot of retired guys. So yeah, of course meeting more Americans is easier. It would be the same if you moved to any retirement community anywhere including the US. Expat talk like friends are impossible in the US. Yeah if you live in a community where everyone works people are too busy to hangout.
Tim, I am planning on building a very simple native house which may be similar to the one you built. Could you share some information on who built your house and what was the approximate cost? Also, how did you arrange for the land to build the house on? Thank you. God bless. Amping, David - Canadian living in Japan.
@@americanchristianinphilipp960 Thank you. I’ve also been talking to Pastor Andrew about this. I’m willing to spend significantly more than 50k for better quality and to build a CR and shower. But my budget is not unlimited. I think my biggest challenge right now is finding suitable land in the mountains to rent or buy or rent initially with the intention of buying in the future.
12:01 So, there's no internet out there, but you kept in contact by video-chatting? Doesn't gel. Video-chatting requires high bandwidth, so why couldn't you work there again?

A really nice story and video---- it's refreshing to see Christian foreigners in the Philippines.
Anyone know of a church near Carcar City, Cebu where English is spoken?

I will ask Tim. I know they can be really cheap, my Mother in Law built one for 50k (peso)

❤❤❤ Praise God ❤❤❤
Yes, always! Thank you.
You can't beat living in the province, you just need extra cash for medical emergencies and keep your self healthy and don't do high risk activities
I live in Laur, Nueva Ecija on Luzon. Do you know of any English speaking religious services near me?
Sorry, I don't know that area.
Best interview
