Yeah probably 63 significant deaths like high ranking sergeants maybe but probably mostly officers. I'd say probably around 300 or more people probably died/were seriously injured.

This wasn't even over the border into Russia, it was in the Donbas area, so they're attacking the invading troops. If Ukraine does cross the border, we can expect random bits of military sabotage by small units, which may already be happening.
Maybe the US shouldn't get involved? I in NO way condone the Russian invasion of Ukraine but there are at least a dozen "wars" occurring around the world which the US conveniently ignores. We either need to get 100% involved in each of these wars (including boots on the ground) OR stop involving ourselves in conflicts that we have no business meddling in.

Ummmm, if you haven't noticed the Russians have been handling Ukraine with children's gloves. But Ukraine has decided to keep going. So now it seems like the gloves are coming off. And the Russians have no incentive to abide by the Geneva Convention considering the way they've been treated by the west. And it's not as if they don't have enough allies within the Middle East and far East to take on the West. So Ukraine is screwed if they do not fold up shop and pull back..... At least Putin is giving them a chance. Which is more than Western military forces have done in the past.

Fun fact, since it wasn't mentioned in this report. Based on the size of the building and the fact that it's literally deleted, it's theorized that there was an ammo depot in the building as well.
So it seems like the Russians took their tank building theory of placing ammo under their troops and applied it to their baracks as well.

Makes sense. A barracks should have some ammo in it incase of an attack, but if you arent a very skilled commander, you might assume to just put everything in barracks, especially if your training never told you that smart weapons can infact target specific buildings or even rooms of buildings.
They just need to crack open a nice can of bud light and come up with a new plan

Anybody who has looked at even the briefly shown images of the building in this video which the new conscripts were kept - at least 700 of them staying in that building, can probably surmise that the only way to have survived that strike and total devastation and leveling to the ground of a building that was at least 4 stories tall and very large was to not have been in the barracks when the HIMARS artillery hit! I saw other video of the aftermath of the strike that shows the bodies of Russian troops in their underwear laying around the perimeter of the building where they were obviously blown right out of their beds inside the building. Russia is lying by claiming that only 63 were killed in this attack. Ukraine estimates that 600 may have been killed (not 400) and 100 seriously wounded.
The old RAF method was to multiply the enemy's admitted losses by ten. If Russia's admitting 63 dead, the number's probably closer to 630, which fits right in the same ballpark as the Ukrainians' estimate.

Ukraine and amerivan media have been telling lies non stop. Zelensky sent a missile onto poland then tried to say it was Russia. He literally tried to drag another country into it. Poland came out and said it was a ukranian missile that crossed into their territory. Anybody that believes anything from zelensky or media is brainwashed. Every report I have seen say the Russians lost between 400 and 600 people when their barracks/ammo storage was hit by two HIMARS rounds. If Russia says 63 soldiers, it was probably 630.

I read somewhere that Ukraine is using captured/liberated tanks as mobile artillery, rather than taking them into battle. I don't know what range the guns have, but surely they could sit behind a hill, or houses, or woods and throw rounds over the top onto Russian positions. Not as accurate as HIMARS, but many more rounds are available.

It's outrageous to hear people in America be fearful of countries like Russia and their military. Cyber wise yes we need to be aware of that and take that seriously as cyber infrastructure is key. But America is giving Ukraine 1/1000th of its military power and Russia is on its heels in a country they Invaded.
