Very cool! Have you ever checked out rope lighters? They work off of a flint wheel, and you have to blow on the rope to form am ember…just something weird, but cool to mess with hahaha! I hope all is well, take care Mike!
I have seen those but never tried one. Another to add to the list 😂👍
If you make this ancient lighter you have to demonstrate it on the live stream. Great find, I am going to try to tune in to Judge Dee. Many years ago I remember the Judge Dee books at my local book store. Probably out of print now but I am going to try to find a copy or two on ebay or Amazon. Would you like a copy if I find them?
Thanks Doug! I've got a stack of books in my "to read" pile, so I better not. But I would love to hear your impressions of the books. If you like them I'll see if I can hunt them down.
Mike, if you watched The Tingler I hope you wired your chairs for the electric shock that was included in the theaters during its original run back in the day.
I thought about it Doug. There is nothing like the full William Castle experience 😉
@@CaneRodPiper Oddly enough many folks think the electric shock was an urban myth but as a young boy in the audience in the theatre I can tell you that the mild jolt was real. It definitely happened to me.
I was one of the folks who thought it was a myth. That is incredible!
