Also. One thing I don’t know if you missed. When the cursed spirits ask to be killed. It shares a direct parallel to hunter x hunter when the spiders defeat the insect spider. As the spiders leave, the insect transformed humans asked to be killed too

He'll bastardize "weaklings utilizing collective strength but finds a loophole in it which is a inherent contradiction to what he said prior. His collective strength is what kept him in the fight and it's also what gave him his boost in strength via Uraume and Kenjaku giving him his body and his fingers

21:46 It wasn't until Radman said this and showed the anime scene that I saw Mahito killed Nanami in a somewhat similar way to Sukuna, killing Gojo. Nanami had his top half destroyed by idol transfiguration, and Sukuna bisected Gojo, and all you really saw were his legs standing there afterward

It’s like sakuna is mocking jujitsu by portraying himself as its ruler or king he absolutely abuses it with no hesitation for the sake of his needs alone like gojo using it for a selfishness to die in a great battle it seems like everyone who’s died is suffering from overwhelming selfishness trying to give meaning to there lives while sakuna lives with no hesitations or limits like he’s free from the world and jujitsu as a whole and everyone is stuck in the cage which is cursed energy and there humanity I think yuji will ether break this narrative or become like sakuna himself in order to save the world by somehow combining with the merger

nah Sukuna is like the anime protagonist or mentor that went the "fuck everything let it all burn" route
we see very clearly many times he has very low emotional intelligence with him drowning in hedonism and violence to dull the pain of his emptiness and thats why we see him breaking down during the part where he talks about Yuji's unbreakable soul because it makes him call himself into question again and he almost gets somewhere when he starts processing his emotions but he shuts it down and defaults back to more violence
I agree 100% aside from your statement about the merger, I believe the merger is just another tool in Sukuna's game.
Many people believe Sukuna is going to fight the Merged Tengen, I believe Sukuna intends to posess the merged Tengen and thus hoarding even more power for him to entertain himself with.
My theory is that's the binding vow Sukuna made with Kenjaku in the Heian era to become a cursed item, that Kenjaku was required to create him a vessel that transcended even what he had achieved.
This isn't Itadori but Merged Tengen.
Wonderful video, people really have this idea that Jujutsu Kaisen isn’t a story with complex philosophical underlining, and and themes and subtext just because it’s stories is largely conveyed though fights. It’s so stupid. The series has been continually framed with themes of love and how we respond to it, and this has connected to Sukuna many times. Someone in discord said this was a failed plot threat because Sukuna thinks love is meaningless. Anime fans really don’t try to understand the stories beyond the superficial.
its also a bit harder to appreciate things when looking at it from a chapter by chapter basis because you get a god awful bogged down experience of Sukuna running the gauntlet for 6 months which makes it harder to appreciate
JJK does have very good themes and ideas with wonderful characters but its bogged down by god awful author bias and wasted potential along with it somehow being rushed and stalled at the same time

I don't think yuji completely fails, especially in kugisaki nanami and higuruma's case. All three were able to die without regrets entrusting their hopes to yuji. This can be counted as proper death, so does wasuke's .

Loved the video, amd specially it didn't strike me that sukuna has been doimg what yuji wants to do unintentionally.Which gives even more depth not only to characters but story as a whole.And it shows how well thought out jjk is as a story where most people say its shallow, but i personally dont believe that.
And also one thing that i would like to add to your point is regarding sukuna's open domain, it is only sukuna's domain that is considered "divine".Not because its only open domain but there's more to it.
His domain actually makes him able to bring out pinnacle of jujutsu as it is supposed to be.
Eg: we also saw kenjaku using open domain but his domain isn't considered domain, because he himself isn't divine in any form neither is his jujutsu.And it is clearly seen that not only is he not a match for satoru gojo but also yuta, and neither of them has open domain.And if just having open domain makes.you divine kenjaku would be up there in the verse with sukuna and somewhat above gojo as well, but he isn't.
And also another thing, people started believing that binding vow is a cheat code and you can gain immeasurable strength.But that is not true, let me give a few example, miwa for example, she basically gave up her whole sorcerer career in order to kill kenjaku in that blow but even with the binding vow it didn't matter.It amounted to nothing.Mei mei uses crow, and cheats the system in a way because only she can use crow, so she sacrifices a life to gain somewhat special grade level attack potency, but in front of people superior to her that amounts to nothing.
In the same way, even if people knows about open domain and lets say you make a binding vow inder to make a open domain, it still wouldn't matter.Because you need to give give equal amount to soemthing back which not many people can do, and also there potential as a sorcerer also comes into play for that(like kenjaku eg).
So even if people started making open domains it still wouldn't be considered divine because basically they are not on that level.

Incredible break down! The details of scenarios, names and causes. So many thoughts I’ve wanted to express in your video. How Mahitos “completion” was giving up his technique he was trying to perfect, to be more like Yuji and focused on him rather than beyond him like Sukuna. The tiger and dragon view of Yuji to Sukuna, adding to that Sukuna put a hole in Yujis heart shown by the first intro of the city being a beating heart and with his flames made a hole then allowing Yuji to feel the pain. To that Sukuna breaking the narrative was him living his destiny with the will to be free (free will actualized) and everyone else following their fate (their power out side of personal control.) (F.J. Schelling on Human Freedom, beautiful book.) Could Yuji be Sukunas copy with morals?? Will Yuji fulfill his mission of being the one to “consume” Sukuna? (We were told someone will be consumed.) Glad you mentioned how what happens in people’s mind, the visuals are by the characters design ex: Jogo and Toji specifically, with Choso’s being by blood. Don’t know much about Buddha and Zero beyond Ragnorok show but it seems similar to Sukuna and Yuji. Thanks for the great video!

Something I think is interesting about Yuji is all the animal/non human imagery Tiger being apart of not only his name but his nickname amount Highschoolers(he’s the tiger of the east) he’s referred to as a demon god and even how he fights is sometimes animalistic and Brutish using mostly Physical strength he’s a metaphorical Animal, during his fight with Mahito he is portrayed as a White wolf leading a pack hunting a group of rabbits in the winter And I hope all of the animal imagery ties into his Domain for as Human as he is being what many deem the best a person can be his domain could represent the savagery of an animal the apex physical strength of a tiger

with the way the story has been going, Sukuna just might break the binding vow that says all culling came players must die before the merger and activate it when he gets cornered.
He can be a cog still, but as with real mechanisms, you can add a power to any cog. Yuji can be the one to power everyone else with his mental cog analogy.
The mentality of the people in this universe can define their power, the way they interpret cursed energy. Yuji just needs to have a slight change in view, to choose to act on the world around him, not just react like he has done with his cog analogy.
Mahoraga was able to imbue pure positive cursed energy (not just multiplied negative cursed energy) into their first attack in the fight against Sukuna, so why can't a human do the same? The power system is currently only built on half of what's truly possible with cursed energy. Why can't Yuji, the one who understands the soul now and is actively trying to save his friend, not just defeating Sukuna. Mix the 2, and you have done the exact same thing Gojo did with his purple. Since Yuji doesn't have a cursed technique to lock his perception, he can show the true depths of cursed energy when he unlocks the purest expression of cursed energy

Honestly speaking, I think Gege has already told us how Jujutsu Kaisen is going to end. The Shinjuku showdown and the shibuya incident are the same arc. With each of the primary villains just being an evolved form of the last.
We all know Mahito is a lesser Sukuna. A mini natural calamity. Whats not talked about enough is that Kenjaku is just a more ambitious Jogo. Both longing for the dawn of a new age and willing to work with anyone to bring about this age. Both died getting what they wanted. Jogo died reviving Sukuna if only for about 30 minutes. Kenjaku died to something even he cannot control.
So at the end of the shibuya incident, Kenjaku begins the culling games reviving old sorcerers and creating new sorcerers. It is almost a near certainty that at the end of the shinjuku showdown that Sukuna will start the merger.
New chapter make your idea kinda make sense. Sukuna have twins? Eating each other because of hunger?
What about when Sukuna says "Who are you?"

This merger will be a failure (for the expecting result), because what he want to create will be out of control and it will force a new stage of evolution for humanity, which mean this could take the world, I don't think barrier will avoid this outcome...that's the only way I see JJK to continue...or it will be a new life form with Kenjaku brain...but it won't be big as a Kaiju or anything else instead it will represent the new perfection after human, sorcerers and curse spirit as the 4th life form. (Perhaps it's going to be the final villain or just another villain), after Sukuna it's important to have something more perfect, after all sukuna is just at the same time human and sorcerer (just two brother that merge perfectly because he eats him, a special case)...Yuji already has the potential to become more than a threat with the shrine and blood technique....Kenjaku planning since day one is the real menace of this story for me (the only one I see as the real threat because of his mindset)...Will Kenjaku become a god or fail after all this great plan?
