My first DD was a migraine as well. The rest would depend on if he has any associated symptoms, like morning nausea and vomiting, etc.

Surprising my first thought with the headache is did they fall or hit their head weeks prior. CT head will definitely rule out the worse case scenarios of brain injury. Migraine seems more likely as well.
Worst case approach 👍🏽 nice! Being a safe doctor is important No history of trauma though.
