Never blink in a Satterfield fight!

I'm mad there's no footage of Curtis Sheppard. Archie Moore said he was the hardest puncher he ever fought

@@rojai9673I've heard there's hatchetman film at the skirball museum in L.A, but not available to the general public.

GREAT STUFF! Never seen this before and still finding videos you’ve made that I wasn’t aware of, thanks for another great fight

13 of Satterfield's 25 losses were by KO and some of those kos were to guys who couldnt punch through cotton candy.. He had great power but no to limited head or upper body movement and hands far too low. Contrast with Frazier ,who had movement and stamina and you will understand why both are perceived differently. No discredit to Satterfield at all. He hit like a mule kicks.

It's a shame Bob is unknown, he's a real great fighter

Satterfield great left hook and nice punching mechanics . Downfall was weak chin and stamina issues

I dont think it was a case of having a weak chin... Have you even been hit cold when throwing a big punch and feeling completely fatigued?
its known he didnt like to train that is a fact

Bob was undisciplined. Hardly ever took training seriously. I don’t think he had a weak chin. He just exposed himself too much winging those big punches. And with HW’s it only takes one punch. Watch his first fight with Harold Johnson. Bob boxed beautifully and took the decision from a great boxer puncher. Too bad he was so reckless so often

Weak chin by any standard of measurement . 13 of his 25 losses were by KO and many of those to guys who could not crack an egg. Entertaining to watch , but chin was highly suspect at best .

@@ThelategreatjohnnybrattonThat’s precisely it. He smoked, he slept around, and drank.
Satterfield didn’t exactly take care of himself.

@@leewilliams6673any HW that exposed himself like Satterfield is susceptible to being knocked out. He often just left his chin dangling out there. His life style sure didn’t help. If he had not always gone for broke and boxed like he did against Harold Johnson he would have had a better record and probably made more money. It’s almost like he didn’t care. A care free wild guy.
