This is such a 90's toy it is just absolutely awesome. I hope that this franchise succeeds, because it's stuff like this that makes me miss 90's with all of it's weirdass toys.
I am really enjoying seeing more & more about this game & am looking forward to the Kickstarter going live. The only miniatures game that *I* own is the X-Wing game, but I have a friend who have a few more (far more complex) miniatures games, which rarely see play due to the learning curve with them. This looks like something that would be played much more often with my group of friends! I could see this easily scaled up/house rules with more proxy cards/books, larger map, & a couple other colors of clay for a larger number of players...
Thanks for the kind words! One of the main reasons I wanted to make Necromolds was to get mini gaming at the table more often - especially for young kids. That said, the strategies involved with picking and commanding your monsters on the battlefield lends itself to wargaming strategies that I enjoy as an adult. I can't wait to see what home rules people come up with! I've got a number of optional rules that I'm going to include in the back of the rulebook.
now this is cool, if I wasn't getting myself an early Christmas present of an Raspberry Pi 4 Model B with keyboard and such I would throw money at this Kickstarter for this game
@@Necromolds Raspberry Pi 4 is for a double cert that I'm hoping to start next year or to play around with before double cert course, might do some Bluetooth stuff with it too not sure yet
Something about this just resonates with my inner child. And I mean on a completely different level to the toys I usually buy. Like I'm excited to pick up my shot riser and some gunpla from the post office this Saturday. But necromolds? Has me kinda giddy.
Awesome review! How random would you say the combat is? It seems only the purple gems modify results. Is there anything else that mitigates randomness? I'm sure my young kids won't have a problem with this but my fellow long time wargamer adults might.
Inb4 Peaugh turns into a WH40K channel because of COPPA and the asshole UA-cam scorched earth solution. As long as you play Dark Angels I'm fine with it.

Same. These could replace DnD minis for me too. They will use so much less space being able to break them down into pots after a game.
Thanks!! I can't wait to make more monsters and expand on Necromold's lore. I've got a whole world/story written up and waiting to be shared!
Just got this for Christmas and so excited to play with my kids.
Love your vids
Thanks!

Thanks! Be sure to check the FB page as we've worked hard with the manufacturer to keep the costs at a retail level. What are your plans for the Pi?
