Two factions I'm looking forward to playing in warhammer 3. More specifically, my favorite, the ogre kingdoms. Their single minded brutality is why I love them. They may not have a lot of units but they sure make up for it in a lot of other areas.

I was excited for this game's release, but I was definitely looking forward to see what cinematic battles you'd put together. I was greatly entertained with this one hahaha

Minus flying units ogres seem to be a very strong faction, clearly winning in most exchanges against Kislev here. Also one of the most well rounded from what I’ve seen
When you're 4x the size of an average "man", and "man" is nothing.
Same problem the empire has it seems. Except for one or two cav units they don’t have their own big smash units to go up against other factions big smash units.
I think the reason why is because Kislev weren't making their kossars switch between ranged and melee in time

I can't wait to see actual battle replays of ogres like we have been getting for nurgle, khorne, tzeentch, etc. I just really want ogres nit to suck. They did pretty good justice to the roster (aside from the thundertusk and yhetees obviously held back for dlc) though I am still surly there are no heavily armored maneaters, and no anti infantry shooting. Dual pistol maneaters would be good for this and were a favored tactic of mine on TT, and with leadbelchers being solid shot instead of the shotguns they were on TT, I just see lots of cheap spears and bows multching them in stupidly efficient trades with little to nothing you can do about it.

@@jeanvaljean341 i mean, yea, that will help, but gnoblars are literally in competition with skavenslaves for most pathetic infantry. Goblins would wreck them. It is hard to screen with a unit that will flee when basic bottom tier infantry look at them funny. Not to mention gnoblars are vastly slower than ogres, so unless you sit back and just allow their artilery to pelt you by slowing your ogres down to gnoblar speed, they won't be helping much.

Well made video. The only thing that bothers me is that all the creative sync kill animations have been gone completely by now. I watched so many battle videos and couldn´t find one. Makes these fights more boring to watch in my opinion.
I hope at least existing ones from TWWH 1-2 appear after combined map update.
There are still some between bigger monsters and deamons, but unfortunately the normal troops don't seem to have any
But what we do have is specific lines from units depending on the enemy and what kind of battel it is, I have hear some Cathayans smack talking kislev during battle replays for example

Amazing video, too often one of both sides seems underpowered or outright dumb in this kind of cinematic videos. Everything was awesome, the only thing that could use some improvement is the transition between stages. Great work!
Lesson 1 : Take the F**king artillery first in any cost. Don' let leadbelchers wipe half of your armies.
Lesson 2 : If you have a spell casting lord and a huge elemental bear, use them as starting line up, not bench line up for second half.

Man war hammer 3 makes for some great cinematic battles, I just wish the soldiers and larger units didn’t have a “cool down” after they attack. I wish it was just dynamic and continuous attacks, that would make it an awesome battle and much more fast paced
The kislev mortar should be more powerful. Doesnt look that hard hitting considering how massive it is

You should have used Greasus more in melee fights, having his big lads to shield for him (a very proper move for him to play, he's smarter than the average Ogre after all!). Other than that, well done bud.

Awesome land battle, shame the giants a still a joke. You can see the stone horn do sweeping damage to infantry formations whilst the giant slaps like two or three dudes, its a god damn shame they're still a joke after three god damn games.
Now the big question: Do the Ogres *REALLY* have an ability to eat the dead on the battlefield?
Because thats very in-lore what the Ogres would certainly do.
Introducing: *"Feasting"*
- an Ogre infantry unit breaks into a loose formation with ogres sitting, talking, eating and bantering.
- The ability can only be activated if the Ogre unit already caused a certain threshhold of casualties in close combat.
- The Unit regenerates health and stamina. Only on living individuals. it does not ressurrect dead members.
- The Unit cant move
- The unit is a lot more vulnerable to any kind of attack.
Generally you could make this a real ability for all kinds of factions. A "short rest" in wich the unit regains some fighting strength for the cost of beeing more vulnerable and immobile.
If I hear that Eldar theme from Dawn of war 2 in one of these one more....

Could you please make a follow up to this battle where Greasus moves on to attack the next Kislevite settlement, but this time... The Winged Hussars arrive just as most of the ogre army is about to push through the holes in the wall! You'll get copyright claimed but it would be dope if you could play the winged hussars Sabaton song in the background when this happens XD
Then as the hussars arrive and the ogres divert their attention, the kislevite defenders can rush up to fill the gaps in the walls and essentially create choke points from which they can defend the walls.
Would be dope!
