THANK YOU JEFF, I love your videos - I just got my machine serviced. Before I took it in. A bobbin error message shows a bobbin thats full. After being serviced, I still get this crazy message. I turned off my sensor-THANK YOU!!
I have the same issue. One of the sales associates tells me I’m threading it wrong. I’ve tried 6 times with no luck. Had it serviced and still get the message.
I started getting it a month after I got my 770qe 😢 it's really annoying and turning the sensor off means that I get a warning message every time I switch the machine on.
I kept getting an error on my bobbin and it was a piece of fuzz in the bobbin window that was obstructing the eye of the sensor. I cleaned everything else 10+ times before I found the fuzz Works great now
Thank you Jeff! Wondering if you have any advice for the same problem on an 830. I have turned off the sensor and it works well that way, but I would like to solve the problem once and for all. Thanks again!
Thanks so much! I have a new B770 QE+ that keeps giving me the upper thread message. Technician couldn’t find anything wrong. Back to the shop it goes. Maybe it needs a new upper thread sensor or maybe a replacement machine?
Oh my gosh. Mine keeps doing the same thing & he just worked on it today…I can’t believe it. It was sewing great! WELL, it looks like I get out my featherweight
I just unhooked mine on my 200 artista . Today I am getting an error message that is keeping my embroidery from starting .. “ please move the needle to top position “ I cannot figure out if this is a needle bar problem or a motherboard issue? Help !
Thank you. This was such a quick and easy fix for something that was driving me nuts. Literally saved me trip to dealer tomorrow!
Game changer! Thanks so much Jeff. The upper thread sensor has been driving me crazy!

I really needed this info. You’re the best
Will this work on bobbins that are scratched?
thanks for your info. absolutely subscribe and watching everytime
what about Artista 165 when you push foot pedal it goes to bobbin winder on message
Where do I buy products?
If you turn the bobbin sensor off because of constant error messages, will the machine stop sewing when you do actually run out of bobbin?
No it will keep sewing you have to physically monitor it.
I just brought mine in for service and upper thread is showing error (empty) message yet again 😢
Thanks! I needed this!
Thanks,Jeff!
