Divya, the biggest joke was asking a real estate guy for the future of real estate🤣😂. Probably Tiff Macklem will be able to give a better answer. It all depends on interest rate. Say interest rate goes up by 3% all this house of cards will come down. First house sales will go slowly down. Then people who were anxious to buy houses before will wait for more price drops. Economy will also slow down, slightly ticking up unemployment rates. I have seen this phenomenon many times in North America. In long term real estate will recover and make money. real estate is a long term investment. The business is cyclical. This was a very long positive business cycle of prosperity. Eventually every good thing come to a slowdown and then recover.🥰

People usually check with bank first to see their mortgage affordability.. and then look for something that they can buy within that range
One option is to start mortgage with a reliable b lender and then change to the major banks.

How many poor vulnerable buyers would have fallen in the trap of so called “CELEBRITY REALTOR” saying it’s the best time to buy a house when the houses were getting sold for 500k over asking. Houses prices were 40% high in 1 year in some areas and stupid is saying BUY BUY BUY!! let me make some money. I feel pity for everyone got trapped by the “CELEBRITY REALTOR” and bought house in the all time high price and now under water.
@@sreeragsreedharan1904 it’s not about compelling. A good realtor who doesn’t only thinking about making money has the responsibility to their clients to make them understand about the market vulnerability when the prices are crazy high. Instead what this guy doing is creating a panic among the buyers saying if you don’t buy it now, next year it’s going to double its price. A statement like this from a realtor who is in industry for ages will definitely make the vulnerable buyer who doesn’t do a lot of market research to arrange as much money as he can from family and friend and all his life savings and buy a house which he can not even afford and then he will go under water when a situation like today happens. At the time this video was posted and this realtor encouraged everyone to buy ASAP price for a million dollar home was 1.5 million. And now look at the price of the same home. It’s at least reduces 300k and after the next 4 interest rate hike which is going to come in this year, the price will go down a lot more than this. One thing you said makes sense about backing out if you think that you can not afford. But what I said is not about the smart buyers who doesn’t fall in the trap of these kind of realtors, I said about is the vulnerable people who falls for the statements like this.
@@sreeragsreedharan1904 going underwater and unable to close the deal situation not just happened to one or two people. 9 out of 10 people who bought house in February, March 2022 is either underwater now or they are getting sued by the buyer because they can not close the deal. And exactly in February March time this guy is saying “buy it’s the best time to buy”
