This event is to celebrate Luther Vandross’ 1995 TV special and Platinum holiday album This Is Christmas with special performances and tributes from an array of special guests.

If you're human you cry to his heavenly voice . You feel as if he's singing to you.
Well, I am very emotional and it's hard to write all that I feel.
I never met Mr. Vandross but for some reason I was led to pray for him mostly everyday for five years before his passing. Thanks to my son, we got to see him and his singers and band at the Paramount Theater in Oakland. What a handsome man, beautiful soul and of course, his voice, a gift from God. We actually had a lot of eye contact that night and I sensed the Spiritual connection through prayer. Thank you his beautiful niece and all the people who knew and loved him up close . Lisa, Kevin, your songs brought the tears but I thank God his music lives on and so does Luther's spirit.

Luther Vandross Vandross will never be duplicated
I’ve been singing Luther songs since his first album. He is a part of me forever. We crossed paths at a store in NYC and I was speechless. He recorded at a studio where I worked as an engineer and I will forever regret not forcing my boss to give me that session. Not long after he fell ill and never fully recovered. Everytime I hear a Luther song I’m in awe. Long live LV!

I had the privilege to talk to Luther when he was in Denver for a concert. He was just as nice and as gracious as I had ever hoped he would be. What a great voice but he was even a nicer human being if that is possible. As an addition, I mentioned to Luther that I was having trouble finding a song of his and he told me the name of the song AND the album it was on.
What a gift.
Luther's music CONTINUES to get me through life. None like him

Saw Luther in a concert in Greensboro, NC with Vanessa Williams as intro. Best, best concert I've ever seen in my lifetime!! We all left mesmerized because it was so AWSUM!! We love you and miss you Luther - forever in our hearts!!
