So here’s one solution: I could set up both the communist and the fascist factions now to hopefully avoid any further issues, having all communist and future communist countries join the 4th International and all fascist and future fascist countries join the Axis. The USA would of course be made neutral, though I doubt they’ll stay that way forever. However, this still leaves some questions. What should I do about the current war? Should I end the war for now to give France, Italy, and the Soviets more time to recover? And if we do end it, what do we do about Romania? Romania isn’t fascist nor communist, so which faction do they join (this is also true for Switzerland)? Also, Romania is going down a route on their focus tree that will result in them causing more issues. I suppose if we stopped the war between the fascist and communist for a time, we could leave the war going with Romania and just conquer them with Hungary, though some viewers may see that as unfair. Or should we just set the war on fire and have all communist countries fighting all the fascist countries now? I think this would actually be a disadvantage to the communist, but I’m fine with this option if you guys want it. Allowing the communist another year to build up would probably make for a better fight though.
As far as I remember your presetting never play out as you wanted . You almost never correct them and even so never fully. I'd like for once to see all alliance being set up as you envisioned them so my vote goes to fix everything needing fixing and try out your single communist faction war
@@dariotimon It worked out once, when I made a mod that forced everyone into the faction of their ideology lol. But I agree, I would like to see two huge factions fighting it out, of course with our faction being the smaller, weaker one :D
honestly I think keep it as is, politically speaking it's realistic for France to lead a non Soviet Communist faction and the Us would be more willing to work with France despite them being Communist. I know it seems difficult but I would honestly like this set up where Germany really has a strong opposition, usually hoi4 let's plays get super easy and end up being a world conquest speed run by 1944
but I get as a content creator it's slightly annoying to have it sprawl out this hard, you do whatever is best for you but content wise I think this is cool.
Well it's not about the two communist factions making things more difficult, as I explained in the video, I think having two factions will make the campaign significantly easier. We'll quickly defeat France and the Netherlands before the Americans arrive (both have hardly any troops). Perhaps Italy can hold out for a little while with US support, but they'll be defeated as well. Therefore, the 4th International will just be weaker than intended, since they won't have the Italians. I think that combining them into one faction and giving them some time to recover from their civil wars will result in a significantly more challenging and interesting campaign.
Happy Thanksgiving. The Fate of Czechoslovakia focus is still around because you can still use it to create a subject or subjects. Whether you actually want to use it is an entirely different subject.
Just so you know, you gave that CL destroyer guns instead of cruiser ones, so they were actually worse than if you'd left them. Dunno if that matters much, but just a heads up.
Happy Thanksgiving! This campaign is quite a stuffed turkey! 🍗🦃 Suggestion for the Medium Tanks - "Das Reich". As for the rest of the mess...man... I think if the US wanted neutrality it should stay out of factions, so I'd remove them and maybe put them in a bloc with the Swiss or any other independents. Then I'd throw the fascists and communists into super blocs like you're suggesting and allow for buildup. Germany now has to run the cauldron if it wants European supremacy on the continent. Hungary asked Germany to mediate - so you can, by force! Hungary drops some Romanian claims and may get small territorial concessions in exchange for German recognition/transfer of cores on the previously exchanged territory. Romania must acquiesce with fast German tanks on the border and stories they've heard of their paratroopers dropping in on capitals. Soviets agree to keep German influence out of the Black Sea and Germany is seen as a peacemaker (by gunpoint). Thus ending the current shooting war...for now...
I think you could leave the two separate factions and even allow the Americans to stay in. Maybe it would be a thing like you take out all the warring communist nations on continental Europe and if that’s achieved the U.S is “forced to sue for peace” (console magic lol).
We can increase relations with them, but that doesn't generally do much, just makes them slightly more likely to accept diplomatic offers. And there's no way to impact factions with spies.
First, I don't see how explaining the choices for how to proceed to viewers qualifies as a "rant." Second, I talked about this for 7 minutes of a 33 minute video, that's not even close to "most" of it.

I say you just roll on with it, dont change anything. The chaos is hilarious :D
I'd agree for the most part, but the U.S joining wouldn't make too much sense to me.

@@dennissadigov1637I don't think it makes enough sense for the U.S. to join France, but everything else sorta makes sense.

Ah that's unfortunate, we'll have to fix it.
Little bit of info on the V3 super gun
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/V-3_cannon
I'm curious how it works in the game
I would suggest naming the new divison "Krieg Machines"
Thanks for the suggestion :)

Is there no ingame way to befriend the USA or break up a faction using spys?

a name suggestion for your new tank division: Armored Assault Division.
