I've been part of the Brümate family for several years and was SUPER excited when they introduced the Era! I have a 30 oz and LOOOOOVE it!!! ALL Brümates have a locking lid preventing them from leaking (you can literally carry them side ways, throw them in a bag, etc and they will not leak) but to have a STRAW that doesn't leak is CLUTCH! 🙌🏽

Out of all you reviewed the ones I like most are the Hydroflask and the Simple Modern ones.
I dont think I like the straw that is jsut a little thing on top, I like to be able to hold and fold the straw a little bit.
The best straws are the Klean Kanteen ones becasue of their tips but they are yet to do a tumbler with a handle.

Hi Jen! WOW…that BRUMATE! I think I’m in love 😍 The 40 oz tumblers are always just WAY too much liquid for me. Will u please tell me if the width of the base is the same for the 30 oz as the 40 oz? Thank you so much for always putting out helpful content!

I am part of the Hydro page on Facebook even though I don’t purchase a lot of their products. I just have two of their jugs. Anyways I have noticed slot of people having damaged travelers and mold in their straws. One reason why I will be sticking with the jugs and for aluminum tumblers I will use my Yeti. I don’t like dents and scratches on my tumbler
Yes I have 3 HJ Travelers 2 lids with mold.. they just sit there now.. only HJ product that are good is SS Jugs I have 1! SS shaker cups. I hope they redesign their lids!

How do you clean the silicone part where the water gets stuck? I know it starts to get moldy 😓

I just ordered my brumate era off Amazon because the website is constantly out. Wanted dark aura got nightfall blue unfortunately but I'm so excited either way.

Stanley has had the straw that goes down. Think called the ice flow. So does yeti

I wanted one for Christmas but couldn't decide which one. I couldn't find features I wanted. The last two are hard to decide between but I am now sure it will be one of those two! Maybe now it will just boil down to color! Although I do love the metal straws... So much colder to drink from! ❤
The metal straws are amazing and so much better for taste and cleaning!

My hydro jug makers lied about turning the lid so the straw would be on the side you drink from. 😢
You should review the new Frost Buddy thicc. They have 40 and 50 oz. A chapstick can fit in the handle.
How is taking off the lid between the hydrojug traveller and the brumate era? Is it difficult or one easier than the other?

HydraPeak also has a tumbler with a folding straw lid as well that ive been using for 2 years, absolute favorite cup ive ever had

I have three HJ Travelers two of the covers went moldy after couple days.. id spend my $ else wheres and Im Canadian so I paid even more so mad! I have the HJ SSteel jug its better even though its bigger.. I purchased 3 Brumate eras cant wait to have a tumbler that comes all apart to wash! No mold.. the HG travelers are also thinner stainless than Stanleys or Yetis so wont hold ice as long.. Id pick my Brumate Toddys/NAVs over HJ.

Good to know! I was feeling torn between Brumate and HJ. Both seemed like good contenders. Mold is an absolute NO for me obviously so I will be looking more into Brumate knowing that about HJ. Love that you can take Brumate apart to clean. So smart.

@@janellmason571 I have a few i just purchased in the last couple months.. XL Toddy love it! (2) smaller handle toddys. (1) wine cup, (1) 32oz waterbottle, (1) Multishaker cup, (2) 32oz & 22oz Navs. A slim can holder 2 reg hopsulators They keep stuff soo cold with the ice pack. They put Yeti to shame and Im a big Yeti buff! Yoh can say im now a big Brumate fan! 🫢

No, all of their cups do not have any metal taste at all! And they are much better than plastic straws in that aspect and easier to clean
I had hopes for the HJ...i was so disappointed when taking the lid off became a workout...just not worth it...😢
does anyone have any experience with how well the hydroflask tumbler resists spilling? I have a 30oz stanley but it spills quite a lot if it tips over which puts me off a bit
It will only spill if you put it upside down and it will spill from the straw . No spilling when it's on its side.
