BONDAR FM & Friends at MUSIC GARDEN

Ever since I picked up the guitar at 17, playing on the streets has been a dream. But why? Maybe because it pushes me beyond my comfort zone, exposing me to new faces and unexpected magic. It’s a chance to experiment freely, collaborate with fellow musicians, and even earn some extra cash!
Each year, I eagerly anticipate the street performance season in Toronto’s stunning Waterfront locations like Music Garden, Harbourfront, and Woodbine Beach. Sure, it’s challenging-unpredictable weather, competition for prime spots, and the need for on-the-spot improvisation-but the rewards are priceless.
Some of my coolest moments? Making new friends and jamming with incredible musicians. Oh, and that time I earned $300 in just 2 hours, thanks to a generous passerby who tossed a $100 bill into the hat!
