The Pokemon on the box are supposed to represent the Mario enemies. The Foongus and Shroomish are the Goombas, Squirtle is the normal koopas, Wartortle is one of the koopalings, Blastoise is Bowser, Inkay is Blooper, etc etc. Maybe Ho-oh is repping so hard, because Mario has a phoenix power in New Super Mario Bros 3 that has the same exact color scheme. They should've had a shiny Altaria also to represent Lakitu.
I want the Luigi card so badly! I managed to get the costume pika with mega X years ago for like 20 bucks...got it graded and it's now a PSA 10! Easily my most expensive Pokemon card in my collection.
My favorite is Luigi's card but I like both. And also I think they should of put the Promo's in separate sleeves, overall my favorite Pokemon box of all-time. ✌🏻

Man, watching this video hurt. In 2016, I went to Japan with the plan of buying a "balikbayan box" amount of Mario and Luigi Pikachu boxes. If you are not filipino, i think its a 3ft x 3.5ft box. Yes, that is in feet. I went to many Pokemon Centers and all of them had a bunch these boxes just sitting on the shelf... I only bought 4... and gave 2 away. I needed money in 2019 so I sold both for about $300 each...
You’d most likely need to get these via private sale or auction now! There are a few stores that still have them but I’m not aware of any that I can recommend
When I saw that shaymin EX, I felt a punch on my chest because I got scammed and that card was in the scam, the card I TRADED was a gold mew (secret) celebrations😢😢😢 nice cgc grades though!
