@JimmyEatsFood no , they are a club bought by a state to make themselves more palatable to western money . Westerners to invest and go live in an authoritarian state who treat the majority of their workers like slaves
It was bound to happen. Football happens in cycles. When I first started watching the EPL back in 2004 it was Arsenal, then man united, Chelsea, Man city and Liverpool for a brief period in that Man city era.
He has a way he plays....he has done that and achieved success in different leagues. I don't think Pep's ego and stubbornness will not let him play another way, even if he is been found out .....
Pep still refusing to change the back and go for something much more conservative- flat back 4 and no more inverting a defender with a lower backline. Until Pep starts setting the defense up for success given the players he has available, more goals will be conceded and more points dropped but Pep will overcomplicate it letting perfection be the enemy of the good
I feel these pundits are idiotic. Stones, Akanji, Ake are out. Rico Lewis is suspended. Who else is he supposed to play in defense? Simpson maybe, but he is a kid.
list them out all you want, the only difference they make is Gvardiol attacking or not. that's about it, but he's a defender first, so Nunes being the "4th defender" makes sense, as they'll shape to back 3 at the end of the day. If Dias legs break, then your excuses make sense. Even if so, Stones were on the bench today. soo.. Anyway, defensive problem apart, why is the attacking so dull then? they have Bernardo KDB Savinho Doku Gundogan Foden Grealish Haaland, only Chelsea have more options and stars than them.
Tittle race finish for them like Arsenal. But, however, they have to fight for top 4. They can’t compete with Liverpool or Chelsea at the moment they’re flying out.
Why not try someone else instead of playing Gundogan all the time? Kovacic was on the bench, for what? Stones on the bench, for what? At least with twenty mins to go, why not bring someone on? Grealish again. He is dusted Edit: Kovacic did come on, but I felt Gundo was still playing the 6 when he came on
A natural 6 doesn't make Walker defend better. It also doesn't make Foden create chances, or make the wingers run at their men. Rodri doesn't fix this. Maybe they get a bit of improvement, but even last year, they relied too much on Rodri. Rodri should never have had 20g/a from CDM. This is a pep error
Great managers always figure out a way even with sub par players / injuries and this is the first time in his career Pep has had an average squad. This is where he needs to prove his credentials as a great coach. Having world class players in every position and telling them to pass it around is all well and good. But when that’s clearly lacking the manager has to step up and change things. I hope pep is able to figure out some way outside of his usual style for these players.
Pep took over city in July 1 2016, and ever since these club dominated the world of football in a clean fashion, and for anybody to try and blame the coach for their current poor form is a lack of football understanding on his/her part. We all know that him and some of his players have been having some internal issues recently. The only thing I felt about Pep is some degree of complacency lately because I strongly believe that the way he extra demands his players to implement his style of play on the pitch now and compared to when he took over the club is a little bit lenient now which is making some of the players relax.
As a coach you can't talk like that, you have to keep those things to yourself, especially when it comes to insecurities. Man City is 100% cooked this season.
City are a relegation level side without Rodri, its crazy how one player effects them so much. They can't win football matches any time he is out injured.
Guardiola probably best coach with his system player but he can’t do what sir Alex, anchelotti, klopp, mourinho, wenger did. That’s the huge difference. I’m only talking about modern day managers
Walker faking a headbutt injury, trying to get a young player sent off, is disgusting. And it's an example of how far things have fallen at City.
Exactly well said , walker as a captain shown bad bad example to young fans , walker is a piece of 💩 ,lowlife player & individual

But the 115 charges are before 2019 season. An they have won 4 straight now.
Pep might be successful manager but may not be greatest like SAF, Jose, Arsene or Klopp as he never took a team that was bad. Check it
@footballcraze3301 From 2019 they rode steadily on the momentum of the ffp violations.
Frank & Craig choking 😂😂😂
i think gvardiol is technical enough to be the anchor in front of the center backs, gundogan isnt physical enough
Leave the club then!
He just signed a 2 year contract extension
Man City ain't a club, it's a business.
@JimmyEatsFood no , they are a club bought by a state to make themselves more palatable to western money .
Westerners to invest and go live in an authoritarian state who treat the majority of their workers like slaves
Absolutely 🎉❤
Pep storyline "I am not good enough"
It was bound to happen. Football happens in cycles. When I first started watching the EPL back in 2004 it was Arsenal, then man united, Chelsea, Man city and Liverpool for a brief period in that Man city era.
He has a way he plays....he has done that and achieved success in different leagues. I don't think Pep's ego and stubbornness will not let him play another way, even if he is been found out .....
they all know they are going to play mk dons next season. from the players, to the ownership, to guardiola. that's why there is no talk of the sack.
Just trying to make people feel sorry for him 😂😂
They are not feeling sorry for Pep. They are surprised by the downfall of city
He's looking for someone to pity him. He should prove now that he's the goat
When Man United wins,Darby is poor.. nonsense 😂
Bye pep 😂 an era came to an end 🎉
Pep still refusing to change the back and go for something much more conservative- flat back 4 and no more inverting a defender with a lower backline. Until Pep starts setting the defense up for success given the players he has available, more goals will be conceded and more points dropped but Pep will overcomplicate it letting perfection be the enemy of the good
I feel these pundits are idiotic. Stones, Akanji, Ake are out. Rico Lewis is suspended. Who else is he supposed to play in defense? Simpson maybe, but he is a kid.
Who cares
You guys act like ManCity is the only team to ever deal with injuries and suspensions. Crazy the amount of excuses this team and Peo get
Madrid won a ucl last season without 3 of the starting back 5 all season. Cry me a river.
list them out all you want, the only difference they make is Gvardiol attacking or not. that's about it, but he's a defender first, so Nunes being the "4th defender" makes sense, as they'll shape to back 3 at the end of the day.
So you’re are saying those players haven’t been part of 1 win in 11??😂
It's not too late for Haaland to apologize to Arteta. Practice what you preach and stay humble no matter what you achieve.
Bro is flustered and I’m here for it
Pep Guardiola is just an overrated cheque book addict coach. He can't fix the existing squad unless he spends heavily in January and in the summer
And every single one of these "pundits" claimed City would get something from this game
Tittle race finish for them like Arsenal. But, however, they have to fight for top 4. They can’t compete with Liverpool or Chelsea at the moment they’re flying out.
Arsenal😭😭😭don't ever be mentioning dem in the title race,.u know dey always come in 2nd
It feels like Manchester City are going through what Liverpool did a few seasons ago with injuries and just nothing going their way for a spell.
One problem city have is they are playing without a natural 6
Why not try someone else instead of playing Gundogan all the time? Kovacic was on the bench, for what? Stones on the bench, for what?
At least with twenty mins to go, why not bring someone on? Grealish again. He is dusted
Edit: Kovacic did come on, but I felt Gundo was still playing the 6 when he came on
A natural 6 doesn't make Walker defend better. It also doesn't make Foden create chances, or make the wingers run at their men. Rodri doesn't fix this. Maybe they get a bit of improvement, but even last year, they relied too much on Rodri. Rodri should never have had 20g/a from CDM. This is a pep error
They're missing a natural replacement for Kalvin Phillips.
I guess the cheque book will be out in January for Pep 😂
Pep will get more experience , learn and improve for a better future.
City players are sick of a system and being shouted at so much! Ferguson didn't even shout as much as him, it's ridiculous how he speaks to them
Walker should’ve been sent off and also a pen on Hojlund
Still only 3 points behind Arsenal
As a coach you can't talk like that, you have to keep those things to yourself, especially when it comes to insecurities. Man City is 100% cooked this season.
Pep is burnt out. He will not see out his new contract.
Are managers like SAF and Ancelotti a bygone era where managers and coaches can rebuild teams?
Pep should bring players from the academy and build a new team for next year.
I’m only talking about modern day managers
it all starts with pressing with ball. that should include haaland too, and if he’s lazy bench him we need pressing
I told you City and helpless Haaland will STAAAAAY HUMBLEEEEEE😂😂
Makes you think if Messi wasn't at Barcelona and lewondoski wasn't at bayern what pep might have achieved after seeing his city team without Rodri
They’re finished. No more trebles, no more 100 points.
You train HOW YOU PLAY
If you dont see it in training YOU WONT SEE IT IN GAMES
I like Amorim for this not a Man U fan
I wonder if having most of the squad injured is the reason they're not playing well? 🤔
