BSFs are absolute beasts when it comes to recycling food wastes. Since I started to farm them for my chickens, there is not enough food waste in my neighborhood to grow my colony lol

I have lived in Alaska for 41 years, I also retired working from the North Slope Borough well above the Arctic circle. I can 100% assure you that many species of Flys exist. I have witnessed animal carcasses loaded with different types of maggots at different times in the expiration of a single carcass . It's like they take thier turn in the eating breeding cycle. Notably the metallic blue looking fly lives there as well a the common house fly. Also the most mosquitoes I have ever seen in my life! To say there are no fly larve in the Arctic is not fact there are plenty of alot of different species. Now the South pole I don't have a clue about .

The world is full of "gamechangers" but the game controllers are pulling all the strings.Nature provides all the healing, health and happiness but a small group of psychopaths control the outcome, everytime.Consider Mono-culture farming. If we put what we know into effect we could employ more people on smaller alotments and feed the enitre population on organic, naturally reared produce.BUT the powers to be want to forever exercise control over man and nature🤷‍♂️
