The thing I like the most about having the twitch chat over there, is that when I watch your videos I’m pretty much all alone, and having the chat there (even though it’s already recorded (duh) ) makes the experience even better because sometimes they ask questions that I’m also asking in silence, and they react in a similar manner as I do…pretty much it helps to keep the atmosphere of a community altogether. I used to play wc3 with my oldest brother, he died early this year. The twitch chat is a good company, and I get that some laddies might get distracted, but I’m always going to be grateful towards you and the community for being so wholesome I love undead, and I admire you, Grubby
Honestly this little transparent chat overlay is kinda cool. Doesn't annoyingly take too much space of the screen, yet shows the reaction of people. And you yourself, - also covered by transparency from the behind, which also doesn't take space of the game scene. Looks so neat. Streams that made with love, that's for sure.
Normally I don't care much for chat, but these guys had me rolling at times lol. Hopefully Grubby keeps twitch chat up, makes for more entertainment to an already exciting match. :)
It is funny how Grubs scouts at 15:14 to check on tavern.. You can actually see that red is just creeping... But hyper focused does not see and and then gets surprised right after..
18:50 lol, right after 0.01 sec of you summoning Infernal, he did tp. Infernal didn't even land yet. He didn't even SEE it falling from they sky. He literally felt it.
Everything about DL seems so good, I don't understand how he isn't meta. Infernal is such an unbelievably strong spell. Seems like creep to 5, then kill just enough to hit level 6 is an instant win condition. But sleep and carrion are also insanely strong as a bonus
you dont see DL in top games because carrion swarm is bad at low level than other aoe hero damage spell like nova, impale. also sleep is bad because you can attack sleep units and they wake up, if DL sleep had mechanism like hex or banish maybe he'd be used more. vamp aura is decent but then again UD dont use melee units for damage, frenzy ghouls have insane dps but they are glass cannon and aboms are tanks. also the fact that DL dont have any support spell for himself makes him not as popular as DK or Lich
@@anupregmi4205 lifesteal is probably his weakest skill, for the exact reasons you mentioned, ghouls get obliterated by AOE, and aboms don't do damage. The entire point of solo leveling DL is BECAUSE you want carrion swarm to be a high level, since it has a huge aoe, and can hit both air and ground, and me mechanical units. You aren't using him as a second hero, I'm literally talking about power leveling him to 5 as fast as possible, getting level 3 crypt swarm, and then using that powerful skill to get level 6. Sleep is still incredible for singling out units and getting surrounds off, because there is a delay before you can attack a sleeper unit to wake them. It's also low mana cost, and doesn't have a projectile, so it's still a great spell. It can also be used in large team fights to disable a unit the enemy isn't paying attention to or to at least makes the enemy need to waste extra actions attacking and then stopping attacking their own unit.
@@135791max DL this way is used in 4v4 games all the time. You don't even need lvl 5 (that takes a lot of time, and a lot of creeping actually, you can guarantee a lvl 5 on barely any map) on lvl 3 you buy boots and a staff and an invis poti, you search for either a human or an elf worker line (in case of elf many wisp on the trees in close proximity) and start to carrion them. YOu can kill a lot of worker pretty fast that way and if the guy don't notice in time you can cripple his whole economy, if he comes back you just staff out. Ppl do this in 4v4 all the time since forever, mostly because an instant punish on such harass is not always possible (maps are huge and ppl may play this from safe positions)
This may well seem like a tall order but; could you make a video with the ud tri-hero nuke? dk+dl+lich coil+carrion+nova? I haven't seen any video ever of it but on paper sounds like fun! XD
in this game a big part of the necros being good was you could use the corpses from enemy graveyard, but if it wasnt ud vs ud it would be so hard to tech into meatwagons (just theoretically speaking). So i'm thinking about how to buff this weak but fun strat: make sacrificial skull spawn 5 corpses like graveyard does OR make upgrade for meatwagons that gives 100hp, FORTIFIED armor and maybe 1-2 bonus armor (keep in mind wagon is more expensive than siege engine but has like half of it's hp). What do you think, I'm bonkers or is it going to your patch notes?
Have the wagon form be fortified and pulled by horses and move faster, with double current hp and corpse functions. Have trebuchet mode be immobile but have longer range and higher damage. Possibly add a price to change modes like the destroyer form transformation.
Love seeing you play dreadlord, but why no second hero? So you can get inferno faster? Seems to me it is still worth having a second hero like dk for healing.
Grubby, what would you change on the dreadlord to make him a more viable competitive pick ? i understand undead straying away from its melee units makes his aura feel very subpar ... But would sleep requiring additional hits to wake up, more damage on carrion swarm or maybe some a few points more strength or agility help him become more viable ?

Someone else think that Dreadlord is a great counter to Dk+lich? It prevented the DK from saving his units with death coil so many times.

Make sleeping and carrion swarm more viable as you said.
And buff His Aura for more life draining with higher hit points.
one simple idea is allowing his carrion swarm to count for the life steal, giving the DL more use for the aura and gives him more staying power.
