Actually, Delena isn't an unrealistic obsession. The show is based on the Stefan/Damon/Elena love triangle, just like the books. And just like in the books, Elena loves both of them. So I wouldn't say it is unrealistic. But I agree that Stelena has the best chance to be endgame .
