Yeah of all the 53-56 F100s (which probably isn't even in my top 10 PU) the Monogram would've been the last one I'd buy. And this one's only for the ED Roth connection.
Sweet box art, I have the Hot Rod magazine version from my youth, I think everything is there but kind of a nightmare. I think there's some other 50's era parts mixed in and a lot of parts are loose. Thanks for sharing. 🤟🤠👍
I was surprised to learn that there's 2-3 different boxings. The original was a 2n1 with some custom parts, then the hotrod version, and then pretty much stock only ones. Nightmare seems to be the consensus of the kit!
I just love the flames on this kit. They could have done the typical flowing back flames but went with this style instead which gives it a whole new look.
Understand that when I say this, it's not to be a troll... but because I've owned this kit, I'd highly recommend saving your money unless you *really* love the subject, or you've got a thick masochistic streak what needs punishing!
Knowing it's 1956 tooling atleast has me prepared. I enjoyed the multi-piece body 56 Cadillac from the same era. So I atleast want to give it a go. It's completely different from the USACC Ford PU.
@@sodakmodelcars Well good luck Adam. Seems i may have built one in my past. Was metalic dark green with flames on front. Currently thinking on a trailer hauler thats different. Dont want to use my shop truck. and i love Dan's COE.
I really want that kit but I'm over F100s for a while because of the 55 I'm working on... that decal sheet is killer!

@@sodakmodelcars I got that impression from reading the comments on your video, I haven't built one yet.
Nice unboxing of what looks to be a challenging kit to build. Especially those decals!!
Thanks Larry, I may source a second set before I tackle this one!
Given it's Ed Roth, I'm surprised there are no Rat Fink decals!
True but also pre-Fink for Roth (1957)
Great review of the kit Adam. Love that sheet of decals. Ron
Thanks Ron!

Great unboxing my friend! Thanks for sharing! 😀👍🏻
Thanks for checking it out!
Built many versions of this truck have a love hate with it. Tonneau cover decal is super cool
Yeah, there's only one reason I have it and it's because of the decals. Lol We will see how my adventures go with it!
Nice unboxing, i like that the doors open 😊
Thanks David! Yeah it make for a nice feature.
Cool kit I've never seen before, I just finished making the 55 Cameo truck into an Ed Roth rat fink build ,lol
Nice, The Cameo is newer and probably a better kit.
Cool kit, thanks Adam
