I guess I’m in the minority here. I love Pokemon because every can collect what they want to. But personally, I wouldn’t even spend 20$ on that Greninja.

Temporal forces is full of new boring cards. This set also has new boring cards (the ogerpons) but atleast it has some fan favourites
That Greninja ex is the most mid chase card, how tf is it sitting around $200?? It honestly just isn't that nice.

why do you think will come down? we are 2 months out, usually those prices start high then drop, while it stayed steady then rose. Not saying it is Umbreon but........all depends on reprints I would expect. We didn't get much from Evolving skies
Jake don’t get you, this video you said the greninja barely made your collection, but somehow is the best chase card.
Being in my collection and being a good card isn't the same. My collection is specific to me. A card like the Umbreon VMAX for instance doesn't fit in my collection regardless of how good it is.
I like the pack art for this set too 😃
People are underestimating how popular Greninja is, which explains its high price point. Greninja is probably the next Charizard for younger generations of Pokemon fans.
Really good point , I tend to forget how the younger generation perceive new gen Pokémon
great point. esp if you watch the anime, greninja is Ash's ace and gained a new mechanic (Ash greninja) just for greninja. It was a monumental moment and a central story line in the anime. So kids will see Pikachu and Greninja in a new level.
In a few years that Greninja ex promo from Shrouded Fable is gonna be at least the price of the box it's in.

I pulled the SIR greeninja and it definitely is my best pull so far!!
I wouldn’t sell it at all, I’m gonna grade it and keep on my collection.

Twilight masquerade and scarlet violet base set are floating around 100 would you invest in booster boxes of them?
Pulled my 2nd eevee yesterday listed one on eBay thing sold in like 2 hours but I do like to always keep one copy.
Have pulled a decent amount of the top chase cards and from swsh and sve always in my first 50 packs but I can’t get myself to sell them especially my blaziken and umbreon
Illustration rare AAs literally at $1 per card yet this set you got a $200 Greninja? Interesting how this worked out.
The value makes sense from my point of view, watched people open around 400 packs worth at a lcs and the pull rates were absolute garbage, ultimately a total of 5 SIR were found out of all of it. greninja showed up finally at the very end of the opening
Who prices these cards tho? And why is there a unspoken mutual agreement to buy it at that price? Such profound thoughts needs answers

I was surprised that the evee full art wasn't worth more at launch. Figured that would be one of the more sought after, regardless of it being easier to pull.
The reddit has rumors that there will be a team rocket set and an eevee terrastal set. Saving money for those

Is it just me or they don't longer include the set name in PSA slab, esp japanese. No body knows what SV4K is, we need the actual set name in japanese to make the card more recognizable.
They just price jump these new sets so people buy them

I mean it's interesting to know how a person started and obviously when one has less money it's difficult to afford the cards. But in your case you have a collection that is quite valuable how did you manage to build a collection worth such an amount. Would be an amazing video to watch

What a terrible set, very few chase cards and awful pull rate, miss sword and shield era especially when you can get double banger packs and easier pulled gallery cards.
I personally always keep an alt art or sar if i pull it. Even if i have the single already. Its one u remember. It was my birthday yesterday and i opened 2 boxes of 151 i got for cheap. One had the mew SAR and the other had zapdos SAR and flareon masterball. I have the SARs already in my binder but screw it im happy to have 2
Of course the jumps make sense, it's the new set this ALWAYS happens and then the prices plummet into the mud. DO NOT BUY THESE CARDS OR YOU WILL LOSE MONEY.
I wasn’t even interested in greninja like that although I respect the Pokémon and it’s design a lot but watching these videos have convinced me to make it my prime hunt

We are in a dead period for Pokémon. No new set for a month or 2, and the promised set looks weak. So this set is what the focus is on right now . Once the new good stuff drops so will these cards.
Jake, why can't you say things plural. It's "cards", not "card" when referring to more than 1 item. It really breaks immersion.
