    The Honda City (GN) is a subcompact car which has been produced by the Japanese manufacturer Honda since 1981. The seventh-generation City (fifth-generation as a sedan) was unveiled in Bangkok, Thailand, on 25 November 2019 in its sedan form. It shared its platform with the fourth-generation Fit/ Jazz. It's facelift was launched in India on 2 March 2023. It got sporty exterior styling, elegant interior enhancements and introduction of new features for advanced safety, connectivity and convenience.     The MY23 City is offered in four variants, including SV, V, VX, and ZX.
    On the outside, the 2023 Honda City receives tweaked front and rear bumpers, a new grille, and new 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. Also up for offer are LED headlamps, LED tail lights, blacked-out B-pillars, fog lights, a shark-fin antenna, and front door-mounted ORVMs. Customers can choose from six colours, including Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Golden Brown Metallic, Meteoroid Grey Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, and a new blue paintjob.
    Feature highlights of the sedan include Honda Sensing suite
    (ADAS), wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a new interior theme, ambient lighting, and rain-sensing wipers. A few other notable features include an electric sunroof, a seven-inch, coloured MID, and an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The model has a seating capacity of five occupants.
    Under the hood, the new Honda City will get a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, NA petrol engine and a 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with a hybrid motor. The former is capable of developing 119bhp and 145Nm of torque, and comes paired with a six-speed manual unit or a CVT unit. The hybrid version, on the other hand, generates an output of 97bhp and 127Nm of torque via the petrol mill, while the hybrid motor produces 107bhp and 253Nm of torque. This combination is mated only with an e-CVT unit.
    The updated Honda City rivals the Maruti Ciaz, Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus, and the Skoda Slavia.
